I was checking out UI libraries and stumbled upon Yale's UI stuff. Honestly, it's not that impressive; seems they're into more serious, business-like designs, very Yale-ish. Pretty surprised they even have a UI library. I guess it might be a student project, but linking it with a fancy school like Yale? Doubt they'd do that.
By the way, I applied to Yale for two years (got rejected π, but hey, I got rejected from tons of other top schools too like Columbia, Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Brown, Duke, Caltech, and my fave, Stanford. Got like 40 rejections in total... little did i know that i was about to get my lessons from AAIT ππ

And if your project is on GitHub, drop the link so everyone can check it out!
Iβll provide a template for your slides. You can spice it up and give us a live demo of your project.
If youβre a GC student and want in on the action, fill out this form: Form_Link

So, I was planning to buy a PC today, and my dad found a seller. We told him to meet us at 6 Kilo to check out the PC. The guy was cool with coming over, which made me kinda suspicious. When he arrived, we took a look at the PC. He started giving me a pitch about it, but I was like, "Nah, let me test it myself."
He goes, "I can tell you about the PC. These are the specs," and brought his phone to read.
I was like, "Yeah, I know what you got. That's why we're here. Now, let me see it." π
I was so suspicious that I even brought benchmarking software to test everything.
But it only took one look at the storage to clear things up. It said 100 GB. I was like, "What is this?"
He goes, "Don't worry, it came from the company. You're the first to touch it." ...
Bruv, what? π ... I didn't even have to test the rest.
Suddenly, he's like, "Yeah, this ain't for you. I better go." And went without even saying a proper goodbye. π
God knows what I would've found if I tested it further.
Anyway, that's how I almost got scammed. Always be curious when buying stuff online.

Praise God, I'm done with my finals! After two stressful, long, and exhausting weeks of study, I have to say thank God it's over π. Now it's back to coding, back to my projects, back to learning, back to experimenting, back to my passion. We're probably going to be back to school in three months, and I have a lot of things on my to-do list and calendar. May God make all of them possible.
I'll be finishing my unfinished projects and hosting Nerd Fest (The Hackathon Version). I'm also planning to explore other areas, especially game development, for the next year. There's so much to learn and read, including DSA. Iβve got to become a Codeforces grandmaster (just kidding, but I do need to find a way to make competitive programming fun π). Once that happens, the rest wonβt be that hard. open source contribution starting from community projects And as you might guess, freelancing are the plans. I'm going to be so invested this summer, so expect a stream of posts filling your Telegram π₯.

If you are gonna listen to people talk about AI, you should probably listen to the people who are writing papers on it.

This is by far the funniest thing I've seen this week! I was taking a break from studying, got on TikTok, and saw this. A Rage Room in Addis? π This is so wild. Who would go there?
I didn't think anyone would pay to break things in Ethiopia until I saw this. This is by far the craziest yet most unique business idea. I bet the founders have made a decent profit from it. ππ
