believe it or not, developer task these days is shifting 😂 your job’s no longer writing code, it’s motivating claude 🤦‍♂️ been seeing some people’s cursor rules on twitter and it's like: "you are genius" "you are cracked developer" "you are senior engineer" God where are we heading 🤦‍♂️ @selfmadecoder

You gotta learn Git before you start vibe coding fr. If you’re out here vibe coding without Git, you're just asking for your project to turn into a zero-sum game. I was using Cursor (just coding, not vibe coding 😅), and I had this feature I commented out and totally forgot about. Cursor straight-up deleted it like it didn’t matter. Thank God I had Git, or I would’ve been so cooked. @selfmadecoder

Y’all are asleep while I’m out here doing this. Nah, I’m not downloading a recipe app ... I don’t even know how to cook. But
Y’all are asleep while I’m out here doing this. Nah, I’m not downloading a recipe app ... I don’t even know how to cook. But I need precision. Like, I gotta know exactly how many spoons of spice I’m throwing in." @selfmadecoder

Let’s Be Honest .. It’s Just Not Fair We’ve reached a point where people with honorary doctorates get called “Doctor” just like those who spent years studying, researching, and earning it the hard way. And let’s be real—that’s not just confusing, it’s unfair. An honorary degree is a gesture of appreciation, not an academic achievement. Using the same title for both blurs the line and disrespects the effort real scholars put in. If we truly value education, let’s not hand out its highest honors like thank-you cards. @selfmadecoder

90% of the time, when people say something can't be done, what they really mean is they can't do it. So make sure their reasoning is valid ... or try it yourself and bet on your own ability. @selfmadecoder

optimistic update sucks ... sacrificing DX for UX 🤦‍♂️ @selfmadecoder

#Nerd_Space I'll be dockerizing the whole project and setting up a CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions. Whenever something gets merged to main, it'll automatically build the Docker image, push it to Docker Hub, then SSH into the VPS, pull the latest image, and restart the container with Docker Compose. All fully automated — no manual steps. @selfmadecoder

#Nerd_Space I’m done with the UI for now and won’t be touching it ( talking abt the code ). But if anyone wants to work on it will attach the screenshot and can work on it. @selfmadecoder

Baking enjera ain’t as easy as it looks fr @selfmadecoder

That urge to get stuff done after a midnight puff ( ideas flowing, productivity at peak )... I guess I gotta sleep during the day just to catch an organic dopamine hit from doing the right thing. @selfmadecoder

Changed the sudo alias to please, so now my commands look like: please rm -rf / please shutdown @selfmadecoder

Just curious.. do you know anyone who works as a prompt engineer? I mean, is that even a real job (at least for now)? Do people actually get paid for it? @selfmadecoder

its 2025 and we still don't have gradient borders in tailwind 🤦‍♂️ @selfmadecoder

cursor is fr soooo good if you know what you're doing .... specially on refactoring your code 👌 @selfmadecoder
