Sometimes the pain doesn’t leave, even after you’ve healed.
You can be in a better place now, surrounded by peace, yet still feel the echoes of what once broke you. You tell yourself you’ve moved on, but some nights, your heart remembers — and it aches all over again.
Maybe that’s because healing isn’t forgetting. It’s learning to live with the memory without letting it consume you.
And maybe Allah hasn’t taken the pain away, not because He’s ignoring your prayers, but because He’s using it to bring you closer to Him — to soften your heart, to make you call His name again and again.
💭 “For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.” — Surah Ash-Sharh (94:5–6)
You might not feel the ease yet, but it’s already written alongside your hardship. It’s coming — slowly, quietly, in ways you don’t see yet.
When it hurts, recite this dua for strength and ease:
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي Rabbi ishrah li sadri, wa yassir li amri (My Lord, expand for me my chest and make my task easy for me.) — Surah Taha (20:25–26)
And this beautiful protection and healing supplication:
اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ Allahumma ‘afini fi badani, Allahumma ‘afini fi sam‘i, Allahumma ‘afini fi basari, la ilaha illa Anta (O Allah, grant health to my body, my hearing, my sight. There is no god but You.)
Reciting Surah Ad-Duha (93) can also soothe the heart when it feels heavy — a gentle reminder that Allah never forgets you, even for a moment.
One day, insyaaAllah, the heart will stop aching at the memory. Until then, keep turning to Him.
Even when it hurts, He’s still healing you. 🤍

One important thing to look for in friends or partners is their deen, especially their salah. In the end of times, it is important to surround ourselves with such people to constantly remind us of our obligations. However salah today can be a sensitive topic to talk about, so here are some signs you can look out for to know their stance on it >
1. Being aware of Salah timings 🕔
Sometimes prayer times can be earlier or later than usual. Someone who prays will be able to tell you when the azan will be and give you its estimated timing.
2. Including Salah in their schedule. 📅
When planning outings, having classes or meetings or when working, they plan ahead of time so that they can perform their salah
3. Asking you to pray with them 🙏
They should ask you to pray with them and vice versa. Whether you end up praying separately or together, an invitation/reminder from them could signify that they prioritize their salah
4. They are conscious about wudhu, cleanliness and their attire 💧
One key sign of someone who prays is someone who is conscious about keeping their wudhu and cleanliness intact especially when they need to pray in public, which means they are preparing themselves to be in the state of salah. While they might be slowly figuring out the deen on their own time and may not be in the state of proper hijab yet (man or woman), they would still prepare appropriate attire to be worn for salah as to still be able to perform it (prayer gowns etc)
These are just a few signs you can look out for, of course there are many other indicators and factors as well !
Lastly, don't forget, when reminding or approaching others regarding salah, do so kindly and respectfully, after all we are supposed to help one another, not shame each other !
Jazakallah khair

“You took a step toward Allah — but they pushed you back with judgment.”
You started praying again. Wore the hijab. Left a habit. Change your circle.
And instead of support, you were met with: “Oh, now you want to be religious?”
Let it go. Allah sees the sincerity they didn’t.
This journey is not for them. It’s for your akhirah.
Don’t stop walking just because they laughed when you started.

Friday Sunnah Reminders 🤍📿
We all know how special Jumaah (Friday) is in our Deen but we need reminders from time to time to recall the magnanimity of this golden day.
Friday is no average day for Muslims. It has the honor of being called ‘best day of the week’ by the best person to ever exist- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
1. Send extra selawat to Rasulullah
Rasulullah ﷺ said :
“The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.” 🖤 [ Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484 ]
2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi
We can read:
A. The first 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf
B. The last 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf
C. Both A and B
D. Ideally, the complete Surah Al-Kahf.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.” [ Narrated by al-Haakim; Grade Sahih by al-Albaani ]
3. Mandi Jumaat [ Jumaah Shower ]
Abu Sa’id Al-Khudr reports: I testify that Allah’s Messenger said, ‘The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained the age of puberty and also cleaning of teeth with Siwak and using perfume, if available’. [ Sahih Bukhari ]
4. Use Fragance & New Piece of Clothings.
“Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer” [ Surat al-A’raf 7: 31 ]
5. Berdoa to Allah [ Send supplications to Allah ]
6. Trimming your nails
Abu Hurayrah R.A. reported that ‘Five are the demonstrations of fitrah (nature/ instinct): 1. circumcision, 2. evacuating the hair underneath the navel, 3. trimming the mustache, 4. trimming the nails, and 5. culling the hair under the arms.’
7. Make lots of Dua between Asr & Maghrib
“There is a special hour on Friday, during which all prayers are accepted and answered by Allah, all Glory and Praise be to Him. This is part of the blessings that Allah has blessed this day with, over all the other days of the week. “On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant him it” – and he gestured with his hands to indicate how short that time is. [ Bukhari and Muslim ]
Ibn Al-Qayyim said that this golden hour is to be found in the time after the Asr prayer until the Maghrib Azan (end of day): “Friday has twelve hours (or part of it). There is one hour during which if a Muslim asks Allah anything, Allah will give it to him, so find it during the last hour after Asr.” [ Abu Dawud & An-Nasai ]
Let’s do the virtues of Friday together! insha allah, if you can’t do everything, it’s okayy, don’t leave everything out okay.
may Allah ease your affairs. 🕊

Never think you are unworthy of praying because of your sins.
You pray because of who الله is, not because of who you are.

“Your journey is not for them to understand, it’s for you and Allah.”
People may misjudge you, question your pace, or dismiss your struggles.
But your path isn’t for them.
Allah sees the backstory. He knows every chapter they skipped.

Assalamualaikum Wr Wb ✨
As we begin a brand new semester, let us take a moment to renew our intentions and remind ourselves of the purpose behind our pursuit of knowledge.
In Islam, seeking knowledge is not merely an academic journey — it is an act of worship (ibadah) when done with sincerity. Whether it’s attending lectures, completing assignments, or collaborating with peers, every effort can become a means of drawing closer to Allah s.w.t. if we set our intentions right — to seek knowledge for His sake, to be beneficial to others, and to contribute to the betterment of the ummah.
Rasulullah ﷺ said:
“Actions are judged by intentions, and every person will have only what they intended. So whoever emigrated for Allah and His Messenger, then his emigration is for Allah and His Messenger; and whoever emigrated for worldly gain or to marry a woman, then his emigration is for that for which he emigrated.”
(Hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim)
Let us therefore begin this semester with renewed spirit and purpose — to strive for excellence, to embody good character, and to use the knowledge we gain to serve society with integrity and compassion.
May Allah s.w.t. bless our studies, grant us ease in our challenges, and make us among those who are sincere in both word and deed. May our time in polytechnic not only shape our skills and intellect, but also our hearts and faith.
All the best for the semester ahead! May it be one filled with growth, barakah, and meaningful connections. Let’s continue to strengthen our ukhuwah and support one another on this journey of learning and becoming.

Sometimes Allah tests us by breaking, not to hurt us, but to awaken something deep within us.
He takes away what we thought we couldn’t live without, so we can finally realise that our hearts were never meant to depend on anyone but Him.
When Allah removes, He replaces.
When He breaks, He rebuilds
but this time, upon faith, upon surrender, and upon the love that never fades which is His love.
So be gentle with your heart.
What feels like breaking is often Allah’s way of bringing you back to Him. 🤍

Everyone has a story, a secret and tomorrow they wish to see.
Allah never taught us to judge one another, but rather to extend our understanding and help towards each other. So much could be happening that you don't know about sodon't be so quick to judge someone without knowing what goes on behind closed doors.

My ustaz once said: “Your true control shows in the small choices you make.”
I think about that a lot. Like when you really want nasi lemak, but you decide not to buy it. Or you crave something sweet, but you reach for water instead. These moments might seem small, but aren’t they where you quietly decide who’s really in charge… you or your desires?
It’s the same with what we post, what we watch, and what we let live on our feed. Not every trend needs our share. Not every video needs our face. Sometimes, self-control means unfollowing content that doesn’t align with where we want our hearts to be.
Controlling our desires (shahwat) isn’t only about avoiding major sins, rather it’s about being mindful in the daily, quiet moments. Because every small decision counts; and if no one sees it, Allah does.

Assalamualaikum, recently an ex-youth team footballer had just passed, Inna lillahi Wa Inna Illaihi Rajiun. Alot that we can reflect from here, that death is guaranteed and to Him we will return. Al Fatihah. So what we can do is to keep asking Allah for mercy, guidance, patience and to ensure we do our obligations as Muslims ( Fardh prayers, Zikir, Reciting the Quran, etc. ) And to never feel despaired from Allahs mercy, Indeed He loves those who repent!
