Many servants of God sincerely love people, possess genuine spiritual gifts, and labor tirelessly. Yet sincerity, passion, and activity are not substitutes for alignment. It is possible to expend enormous effort in an area that appeals to our natural burden while delaying the fuller expression of the assignment God has actually entrusted to us.
God's call determines God's grace. The greatest fruitfulness is found where God's commission and our obedience fully converge.
Paul's life reminds us that God is patient with His servants. He not only calls us but also shapes us, redirects us when necessary, and faithfully leads us into the fullness of the assignment He ordained from the beginning.
Whether one accepts this interpretation or prefers a different reading of Acts, the narrative challenges every believer to ask a searching question:
Am I merely serving with zeal, or am I fully aligned with the specific assignment Christ has given me?
| 2 | From Zeal to Alignment: Paul's Gradual Embrace of His Apostolic Assignment
One of the fascinating realities in Scripture is that receiving a divine calling and fully walking in that calling are not always the same thing. The call may come instantly, but full alignment with that call may unfold progressively.
The apostle Paul illustrates this possibility.
From the very beginning, the Lord left no ambiguity about Paul's primary assignment:
"Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel."
— Acts 9:15–16
Years later, Paul recounted the Lord's words:
"Go! For I will send you far away to the Gentiles."
— Acts 22:21
Again, before King Agrippa, Paul testified:
"...rescuing you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you."
— Acts 26:17
These passages consistently place the Gentiles at the forefront of Paul's apostolic commission. Although Israel was not excluded, the emphasis of Christ's calling was unmistakable.
Yet when we follow Paul's ministry in Acts, we repeatedly find him beginning with the Jews. His deep love for Israel, his lifelong identity as a Pharisee, and his zeal for his own people seem to have shaped the early direction of his ministry. Rather than immediately giving himself predominantly to the Gentiles, he invested significant effort among the Jews, often meeting fierce resistance.
This pattern raises an important question: Was Paul ministering according to the full emphasis of his commission, or was he gradually growing into it?
Luke records several pivotal moments when Paul publicly declared a decisive turn toward the Gentiles after persistent Jewish rejection.
In Pisidian Antioch:
"Since you reject it... we are now turning to the Gentiles."
— Acts 13:46
In Corinth:
"Your blood be on your own heads!... From now on I will go to the Gentiles."
— Acts 18:6
In Rome, after continued rejection:
"This salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen."
— Acts 28:28
These repeated declarations appear to mark stages in Paul's increasing alignment with the commission Christ had given him years earlier.
This understanding also sheds light on Galatians 2:7–9. Paul wrote that the apostles recognized that he had "been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised," just as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel to the circumcised. James, Cephas, and John extended to Paul and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, agreeing that they should go to the Gentiles while Peter's ministry remained primarily among the Jews.
This was not a new calling but a public recognition of the calling Christ had already revealed on the Damascus road.
Paul himself later embraced this identity without hesitation:
"Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry."
— Romans 11:13
Notice that Paul did not merely say he preached to Gentiles. He identified himself as the apostle of the Gentiles. This was not simply one aspect of his ministry; it became the defining feature of his apostleship.
Paul never lost his love for Israel. Even in Romans 9–11, he expressed profound sorrow for his fellow Jews and longed for their salvation. His burden for them remained genuine and deeply personal. Yet a burden, however sincere, must never overshadow a divine commission.
There is a difference between what we naturally desire to do and what God has principally called us to do.
Viewed from this perspective, Paul's ministry reflects a progression from personal zeal toward complete apostolic alignment. As Jewish opposition intensified, his Gentile ministry expanded, producing extraordinary fruit throughout Asia Minor and Europe. The very assignment Christ announced at Paul's conversion became the defining reality of his life and ministry.

| 5 | Today, I live in that same estate. Our house has been completed beautifully. The God who brought us from an unfinished building with no windows or toilet has established us.
Looking back, I know that this could only have been God. He changed my story completely. He took us from lack to abundance, from fear to peace, and from uncertainty to divine favour. My testimonies are plenty, I can’t tell them all…. Surely many are the afflictions of the righteous, but HE PROMISED TO DELIVER US ALL….
I return all the glory, honour, and adoration to Almighty God. If He did it for me, He can do it for anyone who trusts Him.

| 6 | TESTIMONY
Praise the Lord! Good afternoon, everyone.
My name is Mrs. Blessing Attah, and I am a member of Sheepfold Apostolic Ministry. I joined the ministry in the year 2020. Although I am based in Lagos and have been a distant member, I have remained connected and have continued to follow the ministry faithfully.
Today, I want to share my testimony to appreciate God for His faithfulness in my life.
My life has been filled with many struggles. Shortly after I got married, I encountered one challenge after another. Financially, things were very difficult. Everything seemed to be working against me.
I am an entrepreneur in the agribusiness sector. There was a time when my children could not go to school because we could not afford their school fees.
At one point, we had a piece of land, and we managed to develop it as much as we could. We built the structure up to the roofing stage, but there was no plastering, no windows, no doors, no toilet—nothing. It was only the decking and the roof. We moved into that unfinished building and lived there for about two years. Whenever it rained, the rain and wind came directly into the house. Looking back, I can only thank God because, despite the environment, not one member of my family was ever bitten by a snake or harmed.
During that period, I continued running my business. I survived by taking loans and receiving investments from people. I would use the funds for business, return their investments, and then start all over again. It was a cycle of surviving from hand to mouth.
Then God decided to visit me.
My business started as an online agribusiness where I coached people in fish farming and other agricultural ventures. People invested in my business, and I was able to establish a fish farm. Later, I rented a small market stand—not even a proper shop. God blessed that little beginning so much that I eventually expanded to multiple stands.
One of the greatest miracles happened concerning our unfinished house.
Before we completed the building, a major estate development project acquired land in our community. We had not yet perfected all the land documentation, so officials came to demolish houses within the area.
The first time they came, they demolished my neighbour's house. When they got to mine, the man operating the excavator looked at me and simply said, "Let's go." They left my house untouched.
About two years later, they returned. My house was still in its unfinished state. This time they told me, "Madam, you have a stubborn faith. We are giving you 30 minutes to remove your belongings because this house must come down. We have demolished every other house around you."
At that moment, my husband was not even at home. Humanly speaking, there was nothing I could do. I cried with all my heart. I called upon God in my native language. I also called our lead servant, Apostle Tochukwu, and we prayed.
Then, unexpectedly, someone called the demolition team and instructed them to suspend the demolition. They gave me another four days.
Within those four days, God did what only He could do. I still cannot fully explain how it happened, but the house was spared. It remained standing while many others were demolished.
The man who was leading the demolition team later asked me, "What kind of God do you serve?"
Earlier that day, people had been sympathizing with me because they believed everything was over. They had even helped me move my belongings outside. But before the day ended, those same people returned to congratulate me because God had completely changed the situation.
The testimony did not end there.
The owner of the estate eventually gave my husband some contracts. Doors began to open. God remembered our home. New opportunities came. Favour followed us everywhere.
God has also blessed me with a Foodmart that will be opened on the 31st of July, to the glory of God. God has indeed remembered me. I wish to encourage us to believe and trust in the faithfulness of God; at the appointed time, He will beautify your stories. Alleluia. | 17 |

| 11 | Unbelief Is Not a Harmless Weakness—It Is the Chief of Wickedness
Many people treat unbelief as though it is merely a weakness or an innocent inability to believe. Scripture presents it very differently. Unbelief is not morally neutral; it is the root from which many other sins grow because it rejects God's character, His truth, and His authority.
The Bible repeatedly shows that unbelief is what kept Israel from entering the Promised Land:
«"So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief."
— Hebrews 3:19 (NKJV)»
Jesus Himself marveled at the unbelief of people despite the evidence of God's works among them (Mark 6:6). The greatest insult to God is to call His word unreliable and His promises untrustworthy.
John writes:
«"He who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son."
— 1 John 5:10 (NKJV)»
Every act of disobedience begins with unbelief. Eve sinned because she first doubted God's word. Israel rebelled because they refused to believe God's promise. Many rejected Christ because they would not believe despite witnessing His miracles.
This is why Jesus identified unbelief as the fundamental sin:
«"And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin... because they do not believe in Me."
— John 16:8–9 (NKJV)»
Faith honors God because it trusts Him. Unbelief dishonors God because it questions His truthfulness. Therefore, unbelief is not a harmless weakness to be excused but a serious condition that must be repented of and replaced with faith in God's revealed Word.
"Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God."

As we journey through this year, let us continually remember that the God who called us is faithful. He has sustained us, preserved us, opened doors for us, and continually demonstrated that Christ is far above all. No challenge, opposition, or circumstance is greater than His power.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing faithfulness. Thank You for every victory, every provision, every protection, and every testimony You have given us. As we continue this year, keep our eyes fixed on Christ, who is far above all principality, power, might, and dominion. | 17 | The Cumulative Testimony of Scripture Against the Errors of Hyper-Grace
Any doctrine should not be tested by one isolated verse but by the whole counsel of God. While individual passages may be debated, it becomes increasingly difficult to maintain a theological position when dozens of independent passages, written by different authors over many years, all testify to the same truth.
The passages listed below come from the teachings of Jesus, the book of Acts, the writings of Paul, Peter, James, John, Jude, and the author of Hebrews. Yet they speak with remarkable unity.
Collectively, they teach that believers are to:
- Continue in faith.
- Abide in Christ.
- Endure to the end.
- Pursue holiness.
- Practice righteousness.
- Resist deception.
- Beware of drifting away.
- Guard against unbelief.
- Overcome temptation.
- Persevere through trials.
- Hold fast to the gospel.
- Walk in the fear of God.
- Remain watchful for Christ's return.
- Produce fruit worthy of repentance.
- Continue in God's kindness.
These themes are found throughout the New Testament:
- Warnings against falling away: Hebrews 6:4–8; Hebrews 3:12–19; Hebrews 10:26–31; Hebrews 10:35–39; Galatians 5:4–7; Romans 11:18–23; James 5:19–20; 2 Peter 2:19–22.
- The necessity of perseverance: Matthew 10:22; Matthew 24:4–13; Acts 14:22; Colossians 1:21–23; Hebrews 6:11–12; Galatians 6:7–9; Philippians 3:17–4:1; 1 Peter 1:6–9.
- The call to abide: John 15:1–4; John 8:31–32; 1 John 2:24; Acts 11:23.
- Warnings against deception: 1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Peter 3:14–17; Matthew 24:4–13; 2 Timothy 2:22–26; Revelation 2–3.

No single author carries this burden alone.
Jesus warns.
Paul warns.
Peter warns.
James warns.
John warns.
The writer of Hebrews warns.
The Spirit speaks repeatedly to the churches in Revelation.
This remarkable unity should cause every sincere student of Scripture to pause.
Can all of these warnings simply be hypothetical?
Can every exhortation to continue, abide, endure, overcome, watch, persevere, and hold fast be reduced to statements with no genuine danger behind them?
Can every warning about deception, drifting, unbelief, falling away, or shrinking back be explained away by a theological system?
Or should we allow these passages to say exactly what they were written to say?
The biblical gospel is not legalism, nor is it license.
It is the gospel of the grace of God.
It proclaims salvation by grace through faith, apart from works.
It exalts the finished work of Christ as the only ground of our acceptance before God.
It assures believers that God is able to keep them from stumbling and to present them blameless before His presence with great joy.
At the same time, it commands believers to continue in faith, abide in Christ, pursue holiness, resist deception, mortify sin, endure suffering, and persevere until the end.
These truths are not contradictory.
They are complementary.
The God who preserves His people also commands them to persevere.
The Christ who saves His sheep also commands them to follow Him.
The Holy Spirit who seals believers also exhorts them not to grieve Him.
This is the consistent testimony of the New Testament.
This is the true grace of God.

| 19 | There was a period when our ministry's content was reaching approximately 1.5 million people across platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. Today, that reach has declined significantly to about 200,000 or slightly above. This decline is not due to a lack of interest in the message, but largely because of practical limitations that have affected the consistency and quality of our online ministry.
We have identified the major challenges. Frequent interruptions in our livestreams, prolonged periods of inactivity, and limitations in the quality of our video and audio production have affected how our content is distributed by digital platforms. As a result, messages that could have reached many more people are now reaching far fewer.
After careful evaluation, we have concluded that addressing these challenges requires essential ministry tools, including a reliable laptop for production and streaming, a quality sound interface, dependable cameras, and effective microphones capable of delivering clear and uninterrupted teaching. These are not luxuries; in today's digital mission field, they have become instruments through which the gospel can be communicated with excellence and consistency.
For this reason, our ministry is prayerfully reaching out to friends, partners, and all those who recognize the urgency of the gospel in these last days. We are especially appealing to men and women whom we believe are faithful stewards of God's work—people who understand that advancing the kingdom is a shared responsibility.
Our purpose is not merely to expand a social media presence. Our burden is to ensure that biblical truth continues to reach those who are searching, those who are spiritually immature, those who have been misled by false doctrine, and those who have never heard the uncompromised message of Jesus Christ.
Darkness cannot be overcome by silence. It is overcome when light shines. Falsehood is not defeated by complaint; it is defeated when truth is proclaimed boldly, faithfully, and consistently. Every message that points people to Christ weakens the influence of deception. Every sermon that rightly divides the Word of God strengthens believers and calls sinners to repentance.
We therefore invite those who share this burden to stand with us in prayer, encouragement, and practical partnership. As the gospel continues to cross borders through digital platforms, every contribution toward strengthening this ministry becomes an investment in the eternal work of making Christ known among the nations.
Our prayer is that God will continue to raise faithful stewards of the gospel—men and women who understand that while one may preach, many others make that preaching possible through their prayers, generosity, and faithful support. Together, we can ensure that the light of Christ shines ever more brightly in a world increasingly searching for truth.

| 20 | The Global Responsibility of Digital Gospel Ministry
In recent years, the rapid expansion of the internet and social media has transformed the way people communicate, learn, and search for truth. Every day, billions of individuals across the world access digital platforms, making the internet one of the largest mission fields in human history. This unprecedented development has given the Church an extraordinary opportunity to proclaim the gospel beyond the limitations of geography, language, and culture.
For many years, the primary audience of a local ministry was the congregation that gathered within its walls. Today, however, a single sermon uploaded to the internet can be heard simultaneously by people in Africa, Europe, Asia, North and South America, and virtually every region of the world. The mission field has expanded beyond physical borders into the digital world.
I have personally witnessed this reality in our ministry. What began as a ministry serving people primarily within Nigeria has, through the providence of God and the reach of the internet, begun touching lives across the nations. In recent months, I have received messages and testimonies from Brazil, Pakistan, Malawi, the United States, several European countries, and other parts of the world. These interactions have convinced me that the work God has entrusted to us is reaching far beyond our immediate environment.
One particular message deeply affected me because it revealed the far-reaching influence of digital ministry in a way I had never experienced before.
A minister from Malawi wrote to me explaining that he had never heard my name nor encountered any of my teachings. He described a dream in which, during a spiritual conflict, he heard a voice instructing him to seek out "Apostle Tochukwu Okonkwo from Nigeria" because he needed teaching on deliverance. Upon waking, he recorded the name, searched for it on YouTube, and discovered one of my messages titled Earthly Realms Part 2. To his amazement, the sermon addressed many of the same issues he had witnessed in the dream. Moved by this experience, he reached out, not merely to share his testimony, but to seek biblical counsel and spiritual guidance.
Whether one focuses on the dream itself or not, one undeniable fact remains: without the internet, this connection would most likely never have occurred. A minister in another nation, who had no prior knowledge of our ministry, was able to locate biblical teaching within minutes simply because it had been made available online.
That experience profoundly impressed upon me the immense responsibility that accompanies digital ministry. Every sermon, every article, every teaching, every livestream, and every video published on the internet has the potential to become someone's first encounter with the gospel, with biblical doctrine, or with a ministry representing Jesus Christ.
This realization demands that Christian ministers reconsider how they approach online ministry. The question is no longer whether the Church should occupy the digital space, for that question has already been answered by the changing realities of our generation. The more urgent question is this:
What message should the Church proclaim in a world where the nations are only one click away?
As the reach of the ministry increases, so does the weight of its responsibility. The digital age has not changed the gospel, but it has greatly expanded the audience to whom the gospel can be preached. Therefore, every minister who occupies the digital space must recognize that the greater the influence God grants, the greater the responsibility to preserve the purity, accuracy, and authority of His Word.
The testimony from Malawi, together with many others we have received from different nations, has deeply impressed upon my heart the urgency of establishing a stable, effective, and sustainable online ministry. These experiences have convinced me that the digital space is no longer optional for gospel ministry; it has become one of the foremost mission fields of our generation. | 22 |
