A few people got unreasonably upset over the whole gold post. The goal of highlighting the fact that gold has had a negative ROI over the last 10 years is to show you guys that things aren’t always what they’re hyped up to be and that it’s important to keep your sights broad and open. Objectively speaking, there are way better place to put your money into than gold. That’s not to say it’s then by default a bad idea to invest in gold, but to be that sensitive about it just shows how deep some people have gotten into that rabbit hole… Keep your horizons wide, don’t get hyper fixed on something, and be as objective as possible with your investments
