"Sì, intendo, Charlie ci ha fatto un po' allusione. Ma penso che una delle cose interessanti sia, intendo, forse è diverso in una sitcom o qualcosa del genere, ma se sei in uno show per un periodo di tempo e i personaggi invecchiano insieme in tempo reale, e se lo show è ben scritto e gli sceneggiatori rispondono in un certo senso a quella realtà che si manifesta, le rughe dei loro capelli, eccetera, allora in teoria il personaggio si evolve in un certo senso, indipendentemente dal fatto che lo show sia in onda o meno. Quindi c'è una specie di cosa buffa che fa un passo indietro dopo cinque anni, dove Born Again riprenderà con quel lasso di tempo trascorso. Lo spettacolo non riprende il giorno dopo l'ultima volta che l'abbiamo visto. Riprende cinque anni dopo. E quindi in teoria, questi sono personaggi che hanno tutti vissuto cinque anni di vita e tutti i colpi di scena che prendi nel frattempo. Quindi, che anche quelle storie siano necessariamente sullo schermo o meno, c'è solo quel piccolo pezzettino di vita in più lì dentro, che penso sia... come attore, ti dà l'opportunità di portare qualsiasi cosa sia stato il tuo viaggio in quel periodo e diventano un po' più lunghi nel dente."
