This season also serves as a reminder for us to ask Allah SWT for what truly matters: afiyah - well-being and protection in this life and the hereafter. It is the blessing that protects us from the visible and unseen harm, and a dua that the Prophet ﷺ would consistently make in the morning and evening. May Allah SWT grant us afiyah in every part of our lives and guide our actions in ways that pleases Him. It is important that we remain grateful regardless of what we are going through. ✨ This beautiful dua was recited by Prophet Sulaiman A.S. where despite being granted a magnificent kingdom and ability to command the winds, the jinn, and understand the speech of animals, he remained humble and turned to Allah SWT with gratitude. His blessings drew him closer to Allah SWT and not further away. Let's strive to reflect on the countless blessings already bestowed upon us, rather than dwelling on what we lack. May Allah SWT make us among those who constantly remember Him, remain grateful for His countless blessings, and turn back to Him in every situation. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ The first 10 days of Zulhijjah are among the most blessed days of the year, filled with immense opportunities for worship, reflection, and drawing closer to Allah SWT. 🤍 Allah SWT emphasises these days in Surah Al-Fajr, reminding us of their great significance. It was also during this sacred period, on the Day of Arafah, that Islam was perfected and the favour of Allah SWT was completed. Let us strive to make the most of these blessed days by increasing in good deeds, fasting, dhikr, charity, seeking forgiveness, and performing Qurban if we have the means. May Allah SWT allow us to reach these days, accept our deeds, forgive our shortcomings, and make us among those who constantly return to Him. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ As we journey through the blessed month of Zulkaedah, may it be a gentle reminder to pause, reflect, and return to what truly matters — our connection with Allah SWT. 🌙✨ One beautiful way to nurture that bond is by reviving the Sunnah of fasting Ayyamul Bidh. The three white days of each lunar month carry the reward of fasting an entire month and is a small yet meaningful investment for our akhirah. This month, Ayyamul Bidh falls on 1st May to 3rd May (Friday–Sunday). Let us make the most of these days and carry forward the spirit of worship beyond Ramadan.
