MLB PLAYOFFS PREVIEW Alright so yesterday I made the right calls (Yankees OVER & Mariners ML). Hopefully underdogs will keep barking. Let's see: Sides: Dogs are 7-4 SU on Mondays since 2022. Obviously I'd play both dogs here but IF I HAD TO CHOOSE ONE, it'd be the Cubs (away dogs are 49-52 / +10.7% ROI) Totals: Unders are 9-6 so far since the wild card round. Monday unders are 7-5. Leaning Dodgers / Phllies UNDER here because unders are 18-14 in games with away favs

Let's try to break down today's MLB games. I'll start with underdogs (screenshot 1): 1. Reds is a no go because dogs priced +165 or longer are 1-3 SU (since 2022) 2. Red Sox are +155ish — they qualify for the 13-17 angle (+135 to +165 priced dogs) 3. Cubs / Padres is pretty much even That leaves us with one underodg: Tigers are +115 to +120 on most books and that's the same angle as Red Sox yesterday. So I think Tigers ML is the move today. Onto totals (screenshot 2): 1. Wednesday UNDERs are 13-8 2. Best UNDERs are in the 6-7.5 range so I'm not looking into Dodgers/Reds UNDER. I'd also refrain from taking Yankees unders bc you never know when their bats get hot So that leaves us with two games. What I would do here is wait to see if the under hits in Tigers/Guardians. If it does not hit, I'd go with Cubs/Padres UNDER. Or if Padres close as favorites, I'd go with the under in that game regardless bc away favs = unders prevail. Just sharing thought process. Not betting anything yet. I'll wait for now.

Now about MLB LAB channel specifically MLB regular season is over so let's recap it. I don't have many playoffs trends but if I find something I'll lyk of course As you remember, I track 10 teams and make picks based off their stats. Conclusions that I can draw: 1. UNDERs. Most of the teams that I track are low scoring. The UNDERs that I was posting here actually performed really well: 221-178 (55.4% win rate) for +23 units and +5.85% ROI across 399 picks. 2. ML picks. Not great. But I came up with the kelly criterion system and gave a new life to underdog picks. Home dogs also been doing great all season. So will work in improving content in this channel: might only leave unders, might add spreads, might add parlays. Naturally, favorites also win, so I started looking for what could be done there —and I found that JUICED FAVORITES (-200 or shorter) are doing well with covering the -1.5 spreads: 195-150 for +4.8% ROI and +16.9 units

Knowing that underdogs were strong, I took a closer look, and the best way to bet underdogs was to bet the home underdogs. As a result, they were very profitable: 379-423 for +4.24% ROI and +34 units.

I want to start with the overall charts of favorites and underdogs. Favorites were strong at the beginning of the season — in April — then the dominance completely changed, and dogs kept pushing forward without stopping.
