شرح الدكتور أمين عبدالرب :- علاج ال Cerebral malaria :- Quinine Artesenate Arthemeter --- Quinine in Glucose infusion ( 5% ) 10 mg / kg > 3×1 ( during 4 hours ) لانه نخاف من ال Arrhythmia و repeat every 8 days For 6 days . _ After finishing Doxycycline, of fansidar _ Arthemeter : fat soulable ( I.M ) Artesunate :- water soluble ( Anti- schistosoma) ___ Primaquine >>> Anti- gametocye for community eradication Induce Heamolysis / agranyloctosis ( vivax / ovale >> in hypnotic stage ) لكن اليمن صارت Resistance لهذا ما عاد يستخدموه . ___ Mild malaria , moderate :- Combination for 3 days Quartam ( Artemether/lumefantrine) :- 4 tablets / 2 / 3 احسن علاج و مافيش side effect زيادة Malarone (Atovaquone/proguanil ) :- 2 ×2 ×3 Of Fansidar + artesenate Or Fansidar + Mefloquine ____ Fansidar side effects :- Bone marrow depression Steven Johnson syndrome ( as a hypersensitivity reaction) #malaria #باطنة
