This is an annual 5 days camp for high school students that aims to enhance their scientific background through the lectures, guest talks and activities. Join the camp to explore synthetic biology and science, learn from professionals, and connect with like-minded individuals!

The iGEM 2024 team recruitment is open! 🎉
🌍The International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) is an annual worldwide competition where teams of students collaborate to design, build, and present novel synthetic biology projects.
🏅iGEM NU Kazakhstan team is the only undergraduate team from Central Asia. Starting from 2013 till 2023 we have won 4 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals.
🦠The competition takes place in Paris. In 2023, 460 teams participated in the iGEM.
🧬✨iGEMers model systems to test their ideas, construct synbio platforms, design DNA plasmids, and the list can go on and on! Teams also take initiative in diverse fields like Education and Inclusivity.
👩🏻🔬We are looking for enthusiastic students who are eager to develop synthetic biology in Kazakhstan!

We invite you to a dialogue between young scientists and artists about who is a modern human and what is the diversity of human nature in the context of modern biology and ecocentrism.
