I wonder how the last week would have gone if Elon did not control Twitter. 🤔 We didn’t have this luxury for the first year of Ukraine. How would the narrative differ? What would have been classified as “disinformation”? How would public perception differ? The public just had a serious intellectual discourse, the likes of which I’m not sure has ever occurred in human history. Narratives were pitted against each other, on a global scale, and the pursuit of truth led to some wild yet fascinating debate and perspective. This was the first time that a war broke out, and the public were truly free to give their opinions on social media and allow the market to decide what is going on, as opposed to blindly believing what the anchorman on the television said. I don’t think we know it yet, but this might go down as a turning point in human civilization. Governments undoubtedly base their decisions on public opinion, and with a free marketplace of ideas, we just might be able to make a difference, even it it is minimal. One thing is for certain, we are moving the needle. The People are becoming more powerful. We are leveling up. And we couldn’t have done it without Elon.
