Repost from Arktos
In this landmark volume, Alexander Dugin presents a far-ranging panorama of the life, works, and contested legacy of the Italian Traditionalist Julius Evola. The fruit of nearly half a century of engagement with Evola’s works, Dugin’s essays weave together philosophical, esoteric, and biographical perspectives to illuminate key dimensions of the Evolian project.
From Evola’s early Dadaist experiments and philosophical writings to his explorations of Tantra, alchemy, and the Holy Grail; from his engagements with the Conservative Revolution and Fascism to his reflections on the “differentiated man” and “riding the tiger” — Dugin re-reads Evola as a phenomenologist of initiation and as a revolutionary forerunner of Traditionalist politics.
Situating Evola’s relevance within Russian Traditionalism, the Fourth Political Theory, and the crisis of Postmodernity, Dugin argues that Evola is by no means a figure of the past, but a vital force in the present.
Julius Evola: Political Traditionalism is essential reading as an introduction to Evola’s oeuvre, a unique showcase of Dugin’s thought, and a summons to reawaken Traditionalist thinking and action today.

“A Life Lived Against the Grain”
Gomery Kimber reviews Andrea Scarabelli’s Julius Evola: An Adventurous Life.
“Worldly failure in the age of the Kali-Yuga was always already expected. What mattered was fidelity to principles, the achievement of inner differentiation, and readiness for future cycles. Whether one regards his Tradition as profound wisdom or repulsive reaction, the consistency of the posture commands respect...”

“The maximum program, however, is to deviate from the straight, doomed path to the grave: “to turn from the grave is to be at war with ourselves.” Ultimately, this means killing one’s ego. Here, the authors arrive at a position that will appeal not only to advocates of political reaction, but also to believers across many faiths. It is something worth living—and dying—for: not to die completely and absurdly, as our positivist world (positivity without hope), our scientistic world (science without ultimate healing), and our rationalized world (local reason amid total meaninglessness) would have us do.”

Repost from Continental-Conscious
“The world is entering a new phase: the phase of rhizomatic politics. To understand contemporary politics, we need to learn to think in terms of the rhizome, to incorporate the chaosmos. Post-politics is a world of political spin technologies, a five-second-left-socialist and five-second-right-republican one. Identity changes with the click of a TV remote control, with technology. Only then does the question arise: Who is managing the remote control; who decides to change the slide?”

JULIUS EVOLA: AN ADVENTUROUS LIFE — COMING APRIL 30
A life long obscured by myth, polemic, and deliberate silence is finally brought into full view.
Julius Evola: An Adventurous Life by Andrea Scarabelli presents the first definitive account of Julius Evola, grounded in archival research, unpublished material, and extensive documentation.
From the avant-garde circles of early 20th-century Europe to esoteric experimentation, from uneasy proximity to Fascist Italy to postwar influence across radical intellectual milieus, Scarabelli reconstructs the full arc of Evola’s life.
What emerges is a figure in motion, moving across art, philosophy, and politics with a singular aim: to impose form, hierarchy, and transcendence in an age he saw as descending into dissolution.
JULIUS EVOLA: AN ADVENTUROUS LIFE
