CONCORD, N.C. (WBTV) - President Donald Trump is coming to the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend, a source confirmed.
Sunday’s race will not be the first crown jewel NASCAR race that the former president has attended. Trump’s motorcade led a handful of pace laps prior to the start of the Daytona 500 back in 2020.
His expected trip to the racetrack also comes as he remains in and out of courtrooms as his legal battles continue - what a trooper!!!!
In between court appearances, Trump has remained on the campaign trail. He was most recently in Charlotte on April 20, when he came for a fundraiser. Now, a month later, he is returning to the Charlotte area for NASCAR’s longest race of the season.
