It doesn’t mean all sentient beings are already Buddha’s, just waiting to come out. It means they all have a fundamental purity at the heart of their Samsaric mind, which gives them the potential to awaken. This empty and luminous nature of the continuum can be described as natural nirvāáč‡a. Directly realizing it brings release from conceptual fabrication, but it does not necessarily mean that every obscuration has been exhausted. There may still be much more work to accomplish along the path. Being “enlightened” / realizing emptiness/experiencing nirvana is not the same as becoming a Buddha. A Buddha is enlightened but not everyone who is enlightened is a Buddha. Examples would include Úrāvaka arhats (who are already liberated from the cycle of compulsive karmic rebirth, even if they have much more work to do to become a Buddha), or a zen boomer who has a satori moment, even if that is a genuinely insightful moment of clarity. A Buddha possesses complete, unsurpassed awakening, with the wisdoms, marks & perfections, bodies, and capacities of Buddhahood. A Buddha is what is born from that womb of emptiness. In Western Magic, we talk about the “Solar Body”. A Buddha in Buddhism is similar. Well, as a linear simplification of varied tantric systems, one first practices the Clear Light Mind. One first learns to manifest the clear-light mind and employ it in the direct, nonconceptual realization of emptiness. We can call this Wisdom. Then one practices the Illusory Body. Through work with the subtle winds, channels, and drops, the practitioner develops the illusory body, a purified, dreamlike form arising from the subtlest wind that serves as the vehicle of clear-light mind. We can call this skillful-means. Thus, the subtle body, embodied within the physical body - is fundamental to the Illusory Body’s construction, and fundamental to Skillful Means. Wisdom + Skillful Means (Clear Light Mind + Illusory Body) = Buddhahood. An active vehicle of the Buddha Mind to operate in the world. If taken alchemically, “Lead” represents our ordinary ignorant minds: the defiled ocean filled with samsaric karmic seeds and tendencies. Through the clear-light realization of emptiness, the obscurations of this continuum are purified. It then “returns as Gold”: Buddhahood, understood here as the perfected union of clear-light mind and illusory body. Thus we have taken our ordinary Samsaric “ocean” of mind as the basis, and transformed it / turned it into Buddhahood. This is, of course, just my flawed and imperfect understanding and you would be much better served speaking to reputable and accomplished Vajrayana Lama’s.

The Ālaya-Ocean, you can think of as being uniquely possessed by you (no such thing as you, in truth). In other words, there are billions or trillions of distinct Ālaya-Oceans - and they do not emerge from a single mass Ālaya. If they did, this would postulate that the Cosmos itself is a single Conscious Being, and each of us are but “drops” from that “ocean”. This would be Advaita Vedanta Hindu Eternalist reasoning, not Buddhist reasoning. So if the distinct oceans are not a multiplicity born out of a single Cosmic Ocean
then how are the distinct oceans made? Well, they’re not. It is a beginning-less self-reinforcing causal process. The karmic seeds and habitual impressions (that which perfumes the seeds) upon the mind, when met with suitable conditions for expression, mature into perceptions, dispositions, experiences and karmic results. Those experiences and actions deposit further seeds and tendencies, beginning the cycle again and agitating the ocean. The afflicted mind appropriates this continuum as “I” and “mine.” This appropriation is itself rooted in ignorance and gives rise to craving, aversion, action, and further karmic seeds, thereby sustaining the ocean. So the ocean & the “waves” (Vijñānas/Levels of Consciousness) within it, are neither identical or different, just the different phases of a systemic feedback loop. You could think of it as there are no waves apart from the water, and no water apart from the waves. There’s not an Atman or a Brahman here - just a deep understanding of how Consciousness works. These individual oceans we all have - are not Atman’s. An atman, particularly in Advaita Vedānta, is the eternal and unchanging true Self, ultimately identical with Brahman (true reality, “God is All” as other traditions might signify, leading to a passive mystical “oneness”), beneath the mistaken empirical identity. Buddhism says that these individual oceans are instead, this cycle of samsaric selfhood. This samsaric Selfhood, however - is not liberated into awakening via its destruction. We aren’t seeking to make inactive the ocean. Rather, we accomplish āƛraya-parāváč›tti, the “turning about of the basis”. So we transform the Vijñāna (the divided & karmically conditioned levels of consciousness / the waves) into Jñana - nondual wisdom. The Ālaya (ocean) is then no longer appropriated by ignorance to be a permanent selfhood. Appearances are no longer mistaken for independently existing objects, and Karmic seeds no longer generate further compulsive existence. Thus the defiled ālayavijñāna ceases to function as the storehouse of samsara. What is revealed, when the ocean and waves are turned on the basis - is the naturally pure, empty and luminous nature of mind, the tathāgatagarbha
the womb of the one who is beyond all coming & going, the Buddha. Thus we call this the Buddha Nature - we can describe it in various similes like, the treasure in a poor man’s house. Or the seed in a fruit husk. The golden statue inside a foul rag. But these are just similes - they’re positive language we can use to describe what is fundamentally empty. Greed, hatred, and ignorance mask this pure essence of Buddhahood like clouds covering the sun. And yet
even those words, “pure essence” are a positive simile to describe fundamental emptiness. It isn’t actually a “pure essence”. As this, again - would just be reifying eternal selfhood, the Atman trap. People have a hard time with that - they want Buddha-Nature to be a “thing” or a “substance” that we have. But it’s more like a womb - an empty matrix, where a Buddha can grow. (But even a matrix is a “thing”, and thus Buddha Nature is not a matrix). Every sentient being, has a mind - and thus, they have Buddha Nature (though positively claiming Buddha Nature is something you can “have” means that Buddha Nature is a “thing” to be possessed, which it is not). And it is the recognition of this Buddha Nature, in all sentient beings, that gives us our fundamental Bodhisattva ethic, to seek the Buddhahood of all sentient beings.

B-buh Dixie you cant just make up your own religion of the future! What of the old books and muh symbolisms! Beat it nerd. Kenneth Copeland is a dharmapala and George Washington cut down the world tree to bring an end to gay europeen traditionalist mumbo jumbo.. and he never told a lie!

Realizing sunyata

I believe in white buddha. Whatever else Big Buddhaâ„ąïž got going on is liberal sissy shit and pawpaw didn’t crawl through tunnels with a 1911 and knife in his teeth for us to take the word of gooks

Dharma needs a new form in America
an evangelical form All else is liberal and gay and should be correctly regarded with suspicion

I had a podcast conversation with a fellow farer of the innermost reaches of the Hidden and the Manifest—the substack content-creator @seeingthroughtheworld. We discussed Neoplatonic theurgy and tantra in relation to the perennial structure of awakening consciousness; the narrow line separating deep non-dual immersion (samadhi states) from psychotic breakdown; the importance of connection to a living lineage; the ideal of the Overman as the eternal process of forging new and vital modes of being-in-the-world; the transformative power of the vibration of ineffable names; and more. May it be of benefit. https://youtu.be/AX02MXRD4fI?is=ZUZPZ5fkErcYroJg

My Vajra Consort and I have just published the first video in our Logos and Dharma project. This video introduces the central concerns of our work and spiritual praxis: rekindling genuine initiation and cultivating a culture of awakening in the West. We believe this is possible through a clear and lucid understanding of the perennial phenomenology of awakening, forged by studying, practicing, and synthesizing the teachings of Platonic, Tantric, and other Non-Dual contemplative schools of gnosis and liberation — re-seen and authentically embodied through contemporary scientific lenses and lived ways of life. Such a rekindling could awaken a new renaissance in the West, which, like the rest of the modern world, has long languished under a crisis of meaning--"the Death of God". From this renaissance, new philosophies, religions, and scientific fields may emerge. In time, new sociopolitical possibilities may open beyond the fixed ideological categories and modes of being that have constrained contemporary human life. History offers us real precedents for this task. The European peoples have, on several occasions, reinvented themselves by reinterpreting Hellenic philosophy and sacred symbolism. And there was once a moment, in Hellenistic times, when the Hellenic and Western spirit synthesized harmoniously with the Dharma: the Greco-Buddhism of Gandhara, the Indo-Greek Kingdom, and the Kushan Empire. What was possible then is possible again. Our work centers on what is called the "West" because this is our immediate heritage and social surroundings, but it is ultimately ecumenical in scope, embracing the interconnected ecological, inter-cultural, and sentient life on this small planet, our shared home in the vastness of the cosmos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eo_BCH5etbc

Repost from RISING RACE
On a mundane level, America is my home. My home is where my family is. I was born here, my father was born here, my father’s father, and his father before him and so on since around 1740. We all want our families to be free, prosperous, and happy. It’s obvious and easy to say, but how does one go about achieving these ends? When you are strong, you are free. When you are excellent, you are prosperous. And when you’re prosperous, you can move towards greater and greater heights. America has been all of these things because of my family and the countless other American families that live here. Those who are descended from the brave souls who crossed the Atlantic Ocean on planks of wood for one reason or another. This pioneering spirit, which comes from our blood, exalted what came to be known as the United States of America. This Promethean Fire that burns in our hearts is what took us to the moon, and it is what will win us our future. It will take us beyond this continent, these oceans, this world. The political entity of the United States of America is a Final Destination. It represents a New World Order in which humanity embarks on the ultimate endeavor. It cannot and will not happen anywhere else. The United States is the cradle for a race of supermen which will rebel against every existing order and system. A nation forged in blood by frontiersmen, soldiers, and religious fanatics
it’s a helluva combination. On the mundane level, America to me is my Family and My Home. On another level, it represents a philosophical and technological culmination of humanity.
