Living Faith
The heroes of Hebrews 11 demonstrate faith in every conceivable circumstance: Abraham left without knowing where he was going; Moses chose suffering over the pleasures of Egypt; Noah built for a flood that had not yet occurred; the unnamed others went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, afflicted, tormented. Their faith was not comfortable, but it was real and always forward-pressing.
Your Q4 will demand exactly this kind of faith; the faith that presses forward not because every question is answered, but because the One who calls is trustworthy. The substance is there, even if you cannot yet hold it in your hands. The evidence is present, even if your eyes cannot yet see it. Press forward in living faith, and let Q4 begin with the certainty of a believer who knows that what is hoped for is already real.
PRAYER:
Gracious Heavenly Father, let my faith be real, active, and forward-looking, not a passive hope but a present substance. As I close Q3 and enter Q4, let faith be the ground beneath my feet and the wind in my sails. In Jesus' name! Hallelujah! Amen!

| 3 | The Lord Will Perfect That Which Concerns Me:
"That which concerns me": every anxiety, every unresolved situation, every God-given vision that is still in process; the Lord will perfect it. The word "perfect" is to end, to complete, to bring to its final conclusion. What God starts, He brings faithfully to completion.
The ground of this confidence is not David's faithfulness but God's mercy: "Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever." The same lovingkindness that has sustained David through battles, failures, and years of waiting will carry this unfinished work to completion. The permanence of God's mercy guarantees that the work He has begun will not be abandoned midway.
"Do not forsake the works of Your hands". David prays this not because he believes God will forsake him, but as a declaration of faith: You made me; You are not done with me. I am the work of Your hands, and the works of Your hands are not left incomplete. Press forward in the final days of September, knowing that you are God's workmanship and that He does not walk away from unfinished works.
PRAYER:
Gracious Heavenly Father, I trust You with every unresolved concern of my life. Perfect it; bring it to the completion You designed. I rest in Your enduring mercy that guarantees You will not forsake the work You have begun in me. In Jesus’ name! Amen!

| 5 | *I Will Do a New Thing*
God's new thing is not a distant future event; it is springing up even now. The word "spring forth" suggests an organic, sudden, and surprising emergence, like the first green shoot after a long winter. You may not be able to see it yet, but it is already beginning to emerge beneath the surface of your current circumstances.
The specifics of God's new thing are always revealing: a road in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. Where there is no way, He makes one. Where there is no supply, He provides. The impossible terrain of your situation is no match for the God who specialises in wilderness roads and desert rivers. Press forward, expecting God to do something new, something surprising, something only He can do.

| 7 | Your Latter End Shall Greatly Increase:
This word comes to us embedded in a complex story, but the principle it contains is one that God confirmed in Job's own experience. After the trial, after the stripping, after the long season of suffering, Job's latter end was blessed more than his beginning. The ending was greater than the opening. The final chapter exceeded every previous chapter in abundance, fruitfulness, and testimony to God's faithfulness.
The beginning of your journey may have been marked by limitation, obscurity, or hardship. But the forward-pressing God is a God of increasing latter ends. His trajectory for His children is always upward, never downward.
Q3 is ending. Q4 is approaching. The final stretch of a year of pressing forward is before you. Whatever your beginning looked like in January, whatever the smallness of your start, whatever the difficulty of the year's opening, God's promise for your latter end is abundance. Press forward into Q4 with this Word as your expectation: the best is not behind you. It is ahead, in the abundant latter end that belongs to those who press.
PRAYER:
Gracious Heavenly Father, I receive the promise of an abundant latter end. Whatever my beginning looked like, I press forward knowing that Your plan for me is increase. Let Q4 exceed every expectation I could form. In Jesus' name! Hallelujah! Amen!

| 9 | As My Strength Was Then, So Is My Strength Now:
This is not a youthful boast; it is a mature testimony to divine sustenance. Caleb is not claiming physical superiority over other eighty-five-year-olds; he is declaring that the God who gave him strength at forty still gives him strength at eighty-five. The God who sustained him through forty-five years of waiting did not cease to sustain him in the forty-sixth year. A life fully surrendered to God deepens through waiting; it does not decay.
As you press forward in the final days of September, hear Caleb's testimony for yourself. The strength you need for the final push is not drawn from depleted reserves. It is strength renewed by the same God who has sustained you through Q1, Q2, and Q3. You are as strong now and stronger still for the final push. Press forward into Q4 in that divinely renewed and sustained strength.
PRAYER:
Gracious Heavenly Father, as Caleb testified at 85, let me testify in September: my strength is not diminished. You have sustained me. I press forward into Q4 with every bit of the strength You have given, renewed, and maintained in me. In Jesus’ name! Hallelujah! Amen!

| 11 |  The Spirit of Caleb:
The spirit of Caleb is that of the forward-pressing believer in the final push: undeterred by the size of the opposition, unwilling to be swayed by the majority's fear, and fully committed to following God regardless of the prevailing consensus. Caleb did not need everyone to agree with him to go forward. He needed God to be with him, and He was. That was always enough.
The promise to Caleb was personal inheritance, for himself and for his descendants. Your pressing forward in Q3 is not merely about what you achieve in these months; it is about the spiritual inheritance you are creating for those who will come after you. Press forward with the spirit of Caleb.
PRAYER:
Gracious Heavenly Father, give me the spirit of Caleb: the different spirit, the courageous spirit, the fully committed spirit. Let me follow You fully and press forward into every promise You have given, regardless of the opposition. In Jesus’ name! Hallelujah! Amen!

| 12 | From Strength to Strength:
The ordinary traveller weakens with distance, but the Kingdom pilgrim is sustained and strengthened. The secret is found in Psalm 84:6: even the Valley of Baca, the Valley of Weeping, becomes a place of springs for them. The very places designed to deplete them become sources of renewed supply. Difficulty becomes a spring, not a drought.
As you enter the final stretch of Q3, you are not supposed to be weaker now than you were in July. You are supposed to be stronger, fortified by the battles of August and enriched by the harvest of September. Press forward from strength to strength into the remaining days of this quarter and into Q4. The destination, appearing before God in Zion, is worth every step of pressing forward.
PRAYER:
Gracious Heavenly Father, let me go from strength to strength as I press towards the end of Q3 and into Q4. Let every valley I have crossed become a spring of supply, strengthening me for the next and greater stage ahead. In Jesus' name! Hallelujah! Amen!

| 14 | Honouring Those Who Pressed Before Us:
Today, Ghana pauses to honour the birthday of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, a man whose name is inseparable from the story of African self-determination. Nkrumah pressed forward against the most formidable odds of his generation: colonial rule, geopolitical opposition, internal dissent, and the vast inherited burden of a continent seeking its own identity. He pressed on, and a nation was born. His legacy is the inheritance we inhabit today.
Founders' Day is not merely a national commemoration; for the believer, it is a theological prompt. The writer to the Hebrews speaks of a "great cloud of witnesses," those who have run their race before us and whose lives become the testimony that emboldens our own running. Ghana's founding fathers, and indeed the founding fathers of our faith, press us forward by the very fact that they pressed forward themselves.
Today, we honour not only those who built this nation but the spiritual pioneers whose intercession, sacrifice, and faithfulness laid the ground on which we now stand.
PRAYER:
Gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You for Ghana's founding fathers and for the spiritual pioneers who built before us. On this Founders' Day, let their legacy motivate our pressing forward. We run in their honour and for Your glory. In Jesus' name! Hallelujah! Amen!

| 16 |  The Fields Are White for Harvest:
The Kingdom of God frequently operates ahead of human calculation. What we say "is not yet ready" may already be ripe in the Spirit. The harvest is not always future, it is sometimes present and waiting for those with eyes to see it.
Lift up your eyes. What harvest is already white around you: people ready for salvation, relationships ready for restoration, situations ready for breakthrough, doors ready to open? God does not always wait for our projected timeline. Press forward with eyes lifted, and you may find that the harvest you thought was months away is already standing before you.
PRAYER:
Gracious Heavenly Father, give me eyes to see the harvest that is already white around me. Lift my perspective from human timelines to Kingdom reality. I press forward as a reaper in a field that is already fully ready. In Jesus’ name! Hallelujah! Amen!

The fruit of your faithful pressing forward will manifest in your personal life, in your family, your ministry, your finances, your spiritual depth, your legacy. The sheaves are coming home to you. They are yours, and they are coming. Press forward with the joy of the return already alive in your spirit.
PRAYER:

| 18 | He Who Supplies Seed to the Sower
You do not come to God with your own seed, asking Him to make it grow. He provides the seed for you to sow in the first place. The faith you exercise, the resources you give, and the gifts you use in ministry. All of these originate in His prior provision. You are always a steward, never a self-made contributor.
God does not merely replenish what was sown; He multiplies the supply. The sower who gives generously finds that the seed does not run out; it is replenished and increased beyond what was sown. The God who provided five loaves and two fish to feed five thousand works by the principle of miraculous multiplication when what is available is faithfully placed in His hands.
It is not merely the financial harvest that God promises to increase; it is the fruits of righteousness. Character outcomes, Kingdom impacts, transformed lives, and a spiritual legacy built all fall under His promise of increase. Press forward as a sower who trusts the God who supplies the seed, multiplies the planting, and increases the fruit of righteousness.
PRAYER:
Gracious Heavenly Father, I recognize that I am a steward of Your seed. Supply me, multiply what I have sown, and increase the fruit of my righteousness. I press forward in full trust of Your generous and faithful provision. In Jesus’ name! Hallelujah! Amen!

| 20 | The Harvest of Righteousness
The reward of the righteous sower is not speculative; it is certain. It may not come quickly, but it will surely come without exception.
The sowing of righteousness encompasses every act of integrity, every decision of moral courage, and every moment of choosing God's way over expediency. In a world that rewards shortcuts and deceptive efficiency, the believer who chooses righteous labour may appear to fall behind in the short term. But God's economy does not judge outcomes by the same metrics as the world. He counts the quality and character of the seed.
Every act of integrity that cost you something. Every moment of obedience that was inconvenient. Every choice to do good when no one was watching. Each of those seeds is producing a reward that is sure: certain, established, and coming at exactly the right time. Press forward as one who trusts God's faithful accounting.
PRAYER:
Gracious Heavenly Father, let my life be characterised by righteous sowing. Deliver me from the temptation to take deceptive shortcuts. I trust in Your sure reward and press forward in integrity, regardless of the short-term cost. In Jesus' name! Hallelujah! Amen!
