#tawḥīd Shaykh Ṣāliḥ Sindī said: Tawḥīd and Shirk are two opposites that cannot coexist. Either a person is a muwaḥḥid, or he is a mushrik who has committed shirk al-akbar. It is impossible for both to exist together, that a person be both a muwaḥḥid and a mushrik at the same time. This cannot be, just as light and darkness are two opposites that cannot coexist.

To the sisters who cover themselves for the sake of Allah... Just a little reminder: we're not missing out on dressing up, wearing makeup, perfume, jewelry, or looking beautiful. We enjoy those things too—we just enjoy them in the way Allah loves. We save our beauty for our husbands and, where appropriate, for sisters-only gatherings where no non-mahram men are present. Sister, don't be the one who's covered from head to toe in a beautiful loose abaya outside... but then looks the exact same way every single day at home. Dress up for your husband. Wear that outfit you've been saving. Do your makeup. Put on your favorite perfume. Style your hair. Let him be the one who gets to witness that side of you. There's nothing wrong with loving to look beautiful. Allah created us with that desire. We simply choose to beautify ourselves for the one Allah has made halal for us, rather than for the gaze and admiration of strangers. 🌷 "Beauty yourself for the one who is most deserving of witnessing your beauty." 🤍

The Difference between the Hadith Qudsi and the Hadith Nabawi? Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan حفظه الله

If you want Allah to bless you ten times, remove ten of your sins, and elevate you ten degrees, send blessings upon the Prophet ‎ﷺ once. If you want Allah to bless you a hundred times, remove a hundred of your sins, and elevate you a hundred degrees, send blessings upon the Prophet ‎ﷺ ten times. And so on, whenever you send blessings upon him ‎ﷺ, multiply it by ten without any limit. The Prophet ‎ﷺ said: “Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will bless him ten times, remove ten of his sins, and elevate him ten degrees.” And this is not specific to Fridays, but on Fridays, it is more virtuous.

Sahih al-Bukhari 3289

My brother and sister, after spending sixty years in this world, and devoting most of them to seeking knowledge, this advise is the summary of what I learned from knowledge and from the experiences of life: If you act upon this advice, then do not worry about what you miss out on from this world: Concern yourself with who you are in the sight of Allah, and strive to be as Allah wants you to be.

On the authority of ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAbbās, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There is no believing servant except that he has a sin which he falls into from time to time, or a sin that he persists upon and does not part from until he departs this world. Indeed, the believer was created prone to trial, ever-repenting, and forgetful. When he is reminded, he remembers.” 📚Ṣaḥīḥ al-Jāmiʿ, no. 5735.
