Hi Everyone.... So JEE-Mains paper-2 results are out and obviously some of you did exceptionally well, while many failed in doing so (It's obvious and we all know the success rate). And now one thing which most of you will come to hear is that "College won't matter, your skills will". Don't fall for this line and let me tell you why. Two different college, IIIT Bhagalpur and Bhagalpur College of Engineering are located in the same campus. Both these college share same boundary wall. But the Highest Package of IIIT Bhagalpur is 89LPA and on the other hand, Highest Package of Bhagalpur College of Engineering is 6-7 LPA (Some sales company) and even the Average Package of IIIT Bhagalpur is 17.3 LPA while Average Package of Bhagalpur College of Engineering is ~2.5LPA. Now why this margin exist? Is it because of skill? No! There are skilled student in BCE Bhagalpur too, but unfortunately, they can't showcase their skills to any tech company because they don't visit them. So think twice before joining any college. Get an in-depth knowledge of everything about the environment of college, placements and all. If you are opting for some not-so good college, make sure they don't have strict policies regarding 75% attendance criteria. Do a research on all of this because you might have to regret for 4 years if you won't. #copied
