There's a hidden blessing in our unanswered prayers. ‎When you get what you want, say Alhamdulillah, because that's Allah's direction! When you don't get what you want, say Alhamdulillah twice, because that's Allah's protection!

In life, you realize there's a role for everyone you meet. Some will test you, some will love you and some will teach you. But the ones who are truly important are the ones who brings the best in you. They are the rare and amazing people who remind you why it's worth it.

If Allah wants it for you, it will be yours. Allah can make it happen immediately, so instead of worrying trust Allah's plan and remember tawakkul is key.

Your struggles develop your strengths. The more you’ve gone through hardship and trials, the stronger you become! And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah]

One day there will be phone calls. Informing your relatives and friends that you died. You Janazah will be prayed. Then you will be placed in your grave. Then after weeping everyone will leave even your parents. It will be you and the scary grave. Repentance is a cheat code. Don't forget to use it after you sin.

Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh) explains that the heart rusts like copper and silver. And as it can rust, it can be polished. Through dhikr, the heart can shine like a crystal mirror. Thus, when one neglects dhikr, the heart rusts, and when one remembers Allah, it shines. There are two things which cause a heart to rust, heedlessness (ghaflah) and sin. Conversely, the heart can be polished by two things: dhikr and seeking forgiveness.
