For a young person this was equivalent to being photographed with your favourite film or pop star, such was the popularity and adoration enjoyed by Adolf Hitler; true celebrity status.
He was a rock star, before THERE WERE rock stars.

Four High Cultures
(4 of 4)
Per Martin Kerr, Chief of Staff of New Order:
The coming Aryan super-culture, arising after the final demise of the West, denoted as Promethean. Its symbol is the FĂŒhrer before his followers in the Zeppelin Field at Nuremberg, representing the organic unity of the Folk.
The Promethean soul is characterized by willingness to sacrifice for the good of the racial community.

The Rally at Stralsund
19th - 20th July, 1932
âWe made a belated start as dusk fell...as tens of thousands were gathering in the open air at Stralsund for our meeting arranged for 8 p.m...our pilot Baur announced that we could no longer land in Warnemunde, where even the most necessary devices for night landing were unavailable.
Our Leader asked his adjutant for the map. His only question was âHow can we still get to Stralsund for the meeting?â We flew through the night like phantoms...at last, we sighted the faint light of an emergency landing place.
After a drive of 2 1/2 hours we finally came to Stralsund at 2:30 a.m. We had abandoned hope of people waiting so long in the wet and cold. But we stood amidst the mighty assembly of 40,000 people at 4 oâclock in the morning! Our Leader spoke, and during his speech the day slowly dawned. And the loud joyful strains of the âDeutschlandliedâ arose from 40,000 throats.â â from With Hitler On The Road To Power (paraphrased, pages 35 - 36, 1934) by Otto Dietrich

#DemographicReplacement
Germany wants to attract 400,000 skilled workers from abroad each year.
Germany's new coalition government wants to attract 400,000 qualified workers from abroad each year to tackle both a demographic imbalance, and labour shortages in key sectors that risk undermining the recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.
âThe shortage of skilled workers has become so serious by now that it is dramatically slowing down our economy," Christian Duerr, parliamentary leader of the co-governing Free Democrats (FDP), told business magazine WirtschaftsWoche.
âWe can only get the problem of an ageing workforce under control with a modern immigration policy... We have to reach the mark of 400,000 skilled workers from abroad as quickly as possible," Duerr added.

But the lure of VR might cause neglect on a global scale, Chalmers concedes. Would climate change and other crises facing the physical world lose their urgency? That would be a disaster, he says.
These are not the only concerns. Virtual worlds are owned by corporations that want a return on their investment.
âIf virtual worlds are controlled by corporations, as they seem to be right now, will that lead to potentially dystopian realities where the corporations are controlling everything in our environments? I think there are obvious reasons to worry about that,â Chalmers says.

âVirtual reality is genuine realityâ so embrace it, says philosopher
In his book Reality+ David Chalmers says the material world may lose its allure as VR technology advances.
âA common way of thinking about virtual realities is that theyâre somehow fake realities, that what you perceive in VR isnât real. I think thatâs wrong. The virtual worlds weâre interacting with can be as real as our ordinary physical world. Virtual reality is genuine reality.â
A conversation in VR is a real conversation, he says. The objects in the virtual worlds are real too, he asserts, just made of bits instead of quarks and electrons.
âMost of the factors that make life meaningful are going to be there in virtual worlds,â he says. âThereâs no good reason to think that life in VR will be meaningless or valueless.â

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
- Immanuel Kant, What Is Enlightenment? from Foundations of the Metaphysics of Morals (Grundlegung zur Metaphysik der Sitten, 1785)

Members of the SA and SS accompany the Fuhrer on a walkabout as he is greeted by a local child selected from the crowd in the early 1930s.
As a smiling Hitler takes the boyâs hand the photographer captures a vote-winning image that sets the standard for modern political campaigning.

Today, January 19 is the birthday of two great men! One was a soldier and statesman, and the other a poet and visionary.
Robert E. Lee was born on this day in 1807, and Edgar Allan Poe was born on this day in 1809.
Although they lived a long time ago, their lives and works in their respective fields of endeavor can still be profoundly felt by Americans today.
