People asking about entry confirmation. This is the truth and my process. All the work is in the pre planned analysis based on fundamentals and technicals. Once I pre identify an entry range I want to spread risk across or surgical singular entry price then I wait. Once the range or price is hit UNLESS it is during active report release I EXECUTE. Set the 1:3RR risk metrics minimum and let the market do its job and heavy lifting of moving price. ONCE executed then I go through a confirm or deny process related to my trading style to either build confirms/ confidence to extend positions or deny position and invalidate set up. That is through observation of price action, structure formation, capital flows and correlations. Lets break down a mock up scenario. SPX- SP500 is a HTF bullish trend with HH/ HL structure and just printed a new ATH. My macro thesis is bullish on greed train positioning, lower inflation and war on ice. I am waiting for an accumulation phase to form or intraday pullback. I identify 2 AOIs so lets say 7750 and 7720. Then I set alerts or come and check price periodically as a crackhead trader. Price comes to hit 7750s and we already had cash open NYSE movement take place with no reactive news or data. I enter on the first tap of this pre planned AOI. IF an entry range in focus like 10-20 pts zone on SPX I spread entries across range with highest lot/ volume order on bottom of range in example of bullish bias. Confirms to hold: - Technically creating support - Technically forming double or triple bottom - Not consistently printing any new lows on the day or time period - Flipping out of the 5-15min Technical bearish retracement structure - VIX continuing bearish - DXY and Yields ranging or safer - PRO AI reactive news - War deal news Etc Deny of set up: - Printing LL to invalidation point - Strong surging upside VIX - Yields surge - Hawkish Fed remarks - War escalation fresh news hits tape - AI FUD Event news - Large cap tech individually turning bearish Etc Then check off parts of the list until TP or SL (can make reactive trade management decisions if needed) Followed by repeating this process countless of times to get your reps in. Refining skill to better identify entry ranges, invalidation and exercise patience and self control to objectively go through confirm/ deny process.
