The specialist will analyze the existing machine control architecture, communication interfaces, data collection processes, and help define the target system design for future modernization and integration initiatives. Key Requirements: * 3+ years of hands-on experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT (PLC programming, IEC 61131-3). * Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, EtherCAT, RS232). * Solid understanding of industrial automation, machine control systems, and SCADA architectures. * Experience conducting technical discovery, audits, and assessments of existing industrial systems. * Ability to translate operational and technical requirements into scalable architecture solutions. * Strong communication skills and experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders. * English or German language proficiency. Nice to Have: * Experience with CNC machines, robotics, G-code, M-codes, or controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, or KUKA. * Understanding of temperature control systems and PID controllers. * Experience designing industrial data collection and monitoring pipelines. * Familiarity with automotive or manufacturing quality standards. * Experience preparing technical documentation for grants, investment rounds, or technical due diligence.
