Dear MIM Family, We are honored to host esteemed teachers and scholars Shaykh Ahmad Saad Al Azhari and Dr. Mariam Shaibani for an enlightening discussion on "Foundational Knowledge and Lifelong Devotion." This session will delve into the essence of foundational knowledge in Islam and its role in nurturing lifelong devotion to spirituality and learning. Shaykh Ahmad Saad Al Azhari is the Founder & Director of the Ihsan Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies. He has a BA Honours in Islamic Studies from Al-Azhar University) and is a PhD Candidate in Theology and Religion at University of Birmingham. Dr. Mariam Sheibani is Associate Academic Director and Head of Research at Cambridge Muslim College. She received her PhD in Islamic Thought from the University of Chicago and postdoctoral training at Harvard Law School. ✨In our ongoing exploration of the Prophet's hadith from the "The Forty Hadith of Al-Nawawy" with Nour and Huda al-Kazzaz, we are happy to welcome you once again as we delve into another hadith that draws us nearer to Allah and His beloved Messenger ﷺ . The 19th hadith imparts a beautiful and significant piece of advice from our beloved Messengerﷺ, closely intertwined with the themes of mindfulness of Allah discussed in the preceding two hadiths, and we delve into exploring this hadith during the blessed days of Dhul-Hijjah. Additionally, we are honored to be hosting a very special guest during this majlis, Sister Somaia Youssef, known for her captivating Quranic recitations during our previous Ramadan khatm' program.
