As seen in the video above, the treatment of protestors on January 6th was disproportionate to the treatment of left wing activists who stormed the Capitol 3 times in 2018 for climate change, abortion rights and immigration. The J6 victims have suffered egregious civil rights violations. We must demand accountability for these acts of terrorism on the American people by their government. We can’t vote our way out of this, nor can we fight. All we have left are our voices. Speak truth to power and pray for change. The truth is powerful and your voice is powerful. If you don't know by now, the Capitol entry on J6 was preceded by a violent attack on protestors assembled outside the US Capitol's west side. More than an hour before any protestor entered the building, and while President Trump was still speaking on stage—incendiary grenades, mortars, tear gas, rubber bullets and more were launched into the crowd maiming many and killing 2 protestors. Notably, this was the first time in history that Capitol PD has used these munitions on protestors, and police use of force experts have deemed the deployment of these weapons on Jan 6 illegal. The chaos of Jan 6th was directly precipitated by criminal and lethal police brutality and violence.
