September 24 & 25, we return to London’s ICA across two nights, bringing together artists working in experimental composition and electronics across punk and performance art. Featuring performances by Tyondai Braxton, Cyst, Alpha Maid, Europa, and Rian Treanor with Rotherham Sight & Sound, the program traces a range of approaches to contemporary sound, where compositions are treated as a process of constant metamorphosis and parallel routes traced towards intricate and unsettled forms.

On September 7th, witness One Leg One Eye drag traditional Irish music through the most severe of voidic territories, stripping it down to its blackest marrow. Over the course of their AD93 releases, layers of distorted pipe drones and jagged metal textures are pressed with heavily processed field recordings, stripping folk elements down to fundamental heavy frequencies. When performed live the duo deconstructs traditional song structures entirely, focusing on sustained pitch manipulation and massive walls of resonance that alter the physical perception of the room and leave the mind feeling entirely untethered.
Support TBA.

Errorsmith has Frankensteined club genres through mad-scientist digital synthesis for almost three decades, rejecting standard analog gear in favor of building his own digital instruments. For our August 20 night with ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U and yungfya, he’s bringing his DJ prowess to the decks for his hyperactive cartoon version of a rave ✃𓄧

Opening our August 20 night with ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U and featuring Errorsmith, yungfya’s beautifully broken and unpredictable rhythms are built from the deep low-ends of dubstep and grime with the high-energy tempos of jungle, footwork, and experimental electronics. Both a selector and an activist, her focus is on tearing down traditional gatekeeping, prioritizing inclusive connected spaces and the communities behind the sounds. Feel the heart behind the bass when she holds the decks ❤️🔥

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, our sister festival transmediale returns 28 - 31 January 2027 under the title groundstates, unfolding as a decentralized system foregrounding a multiplicity of internets and resisting the expectation of a single technological future.
Running until March 7 2027, this edition’s exhibition fragile currents is a series of artworks and installations organized around an installation holding space for a public program. Curated using ruins as a method, the breakdown of infrastructure is treated as a condition for new forms of organization to emerge.

Our sister festival transmediale is gearing up for summer with the upcoming discourse series conversation pieces: pool edition in collaboration with the art space Tropez, located in Humboldthain’s public swimming pool. Bringing together artists, curators and creators, the series takes everyday technologies as its starting point and situates them in the context of the pool—an excellent way to soak up some new ideas 🐬

On July 29, Japanese trio Violent Magic Orchestra return to open the pit at Urban Spree, pre-scourged by industrial punks PΞB. A luminous and verminously gnarled black hole of hardcore black metal rave, VMO are entropy and energy copulating furiously, suffocating guitars and throat-shredding screams as machines hammer like rabid gods. PΞB open the night with a feverish and brutal theatrical assault, drenched in distorted beats, twisted electronics, and explosive vocals.

The Berlin debut of alien black metalists Krallice on October 13 opens with an aural tear in the fabric of reality. Built almost entirely electronically from modular synthesis, Rashad Becker’s dense microtonal environments shape artificial voices and unstable interactions that breathe with uncanny organic life. Narratives mapping uncharted fictional realms recur heavily in his work, ephemeral realms where no single aesthetic reign dictates form; rather, an infinite tapestry of sonic diversity flourishes in boundless variation.

One week left before the ancient rituals and brute modernity of Kuntari opens our June 3 concert night with Big Brave.
