Standing firm to your beliefs even when it challenges “popular opinion” means honoring your truth and choosing to work on your own needs. This is not selfish, it’s necessary. Stay unapologetic about the things that matter the most to you. Tell yourself “I will honour my needs and truth”. I am exploring the fundamental ideas that women in modern day Ethiopia live by.
