Hi everyone🔔🔔 I have got many doubts and questions on how to cover history, especially seeing how vast it is? While it does give many questions but at the same time if not done cleverly, u can spend hours on it without much being achieved. In my experience, there are around 15-16 themes which give 75-80% of the questions, and if these themes are perfected, a lot can be achieved. Taking this in mind, We have come up with a solution. A very affordable (under 500 rs) Course with following features: 1. Workbook approach (like we did in essay course, you will have to fill them in class)- 💠 2. Active recalling sessions💠 3. 2 Pager high quality notes on these themes.💠 4. Covering holistically this 16 themes in such a manner that you can answer questions on them.💠 5. Concept classes for timeline, interconnections and terminologies. 💠 This classes will be taught by Snehil Sparsh, and me (Shubham Ajmera) and Aditya sir (5 mains and 3 interviews) will be Mentors to guide you! Will put out course details and link to become a part of it soon! Will also soon be uploading sample notes, sample workbook and sample video! I hope this series helps you the most and helps you make it to final cut! Thank you! Let’s get in the grind guys! ❤(Give us another 1-2 days to give out more details) Yours, Shubham Ajmera!

🚨 DAY 18: 30 DAYS ETHICS ENRICHMENT SERIES 📚 Topic: Emile Durkheim's Anomie 📖 Meaning: Anomie, a term coined by Émile Durkheim, refers to a state of normlessness, where societal norms and values become unclear or are eroded, leading to a breakdown in social cohesion and individual behavior. In such a condition, individuals may feel disconnected from the collective values of society, leading to confusion, disorientation, and a lack of direction. ✏️ Causes of Anomie: 1️⃣ Rapid Social Change: In times of social or economic upheaval, traditional norms and values may not keep pace with the changes, causing confusion and a loss of shared direction. 2️⃣ Lack of Social Regulation: When social norms or regulations (e.g., family, community, or government institutions) are weak or ineffective, individuals may feel disconnected and lack a sense of purpose. 3️⃣ Individualism in Modern Society: As societies modernize, especially through industrialization, there is a shift towards individualism. While this provides personal freedom, it can also lead to feelings of isolation and an absence of a collective identity. 4️⃣ Economic and Social Inequality: Disparities in wealth, education, and opportunity can create frustration, as people may feel they cannot achieve the goals set by society, leading to feelings of powerlessness. 👉 Application: 1️⃣ Use this concept in questions related to Society. Hit ❤️ if you are going to dedicatedly follow this series. 📎 Stay Updated : @upscandbeyondd

Confession: the first thing we made for UPPCS was not notes. It was a spreadsheet. A very boring one :p Hi everyone, Shubham here. Many of you know me from the UPSC side. 6 years, 6 attempts, no final list. So when we decided to build for UPPCS, I had one fear. That we would do what is easiest: take UPSC material, print "UP" on the cover and call it UPPCS preparation. Easy, yes. Honest, no. So before writing a single theme, we sat with every question UPPCS asked in 2023, 2024 and 2025. All 450. Each one tagged: subject, format, difficulty, and what level of reading it needed. Then we went back 35 years to see which themes keep coming back. Some of it surprised even me: 🟠 About two-thirds of the paper is straight recall, and one question in three can be answered from NCERT-level reading. 🟠 Marks slip away mostly in pure current affairs and Medieval History. 🟠 UPPCS has asked Bhakti saints in 10 different papers, Himalayan passes in 9, vitamins in 9. Why am I telling you all this? Because it is the one promise I can actually keep: we will not guess on your behalf. Abhay (AIR 03, UPPCS 2024) sat with our research team on this map and picked the themes he felt matter most this year. Every booklet and every test stands on it. If the map is wrong, everything after it is wrong. So we spent the most time on the part nobody ever sees. (My eyes still have opinions about that spreadsheet :p) The list of 76 repeating themes was never meant to be paid. It is here, free, if you missed it. One small task for tonight: open the list and tick every theme you can explain without looking at anything. The ones you can't tick are your real syllabus for the next six weeks. Sach bolun toh, this is the least glamorous part of preparation. And the most useful. ~Shubham Ajmera

🚨 DAY 29: 30 DAYS ETHICS ENRICHMENT SERIES 📚 Topic: Sisyphean Paradox 📖 Meaning: The Sisyphean Paradox refers to a concept derived from Greek mythology, particularly the story of King Sisyphus, who was condemned by the gods to roll a boulder up a hill only for it to roll back down every time he reached the top. This eternal cycle of futile effort represents the idea of a task that is endless, repetitive, and ultimately without purpose or resolution. Sisyphean Paradox can be interpreted in multiple ways: 1. Futility in Repetitive Efforts: It reflects the ethical dilemma of engaging in tasks that seem to have no meaningful or tangible outcome. 2. Resilience in Adversity: On a more positive note, the Sisyphean Paradox can also symbolize resilience and perseverance. Despite the repetitive and seemingly futile nature of his task, Sisyphus continues his efforts. 3. Ethics of Effort vs. Outcome: The paradox also raises questions about the ethics of effort and the purpose of actions. In governance or administration, the focus should not solely be on the end result but on the quality of the effort put forth. 4. Moral Implications: The paradox brings attention to the moral implications of pursuing tasks that appear unending or in vain. 5. Psychological and Philosophical Dimensions: Philosophically, Albert Camus argues that while Sisyphus's task seems pointless, it’s his struggle that defines him. Similarly, in public service, the challenge of working in difficult or discouraging circumstances can itself be a form of meaning, particularly if a civil servant finds purpose in the commitment to ethical action, public welfare, and service, irrespective of the immediate results. 💬 Key Quote: "The struggle itself… is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy." Albert Camus 👉 Application: 1️⃣ Use this concept in Section A to emphasize on means rather than ends Hit ❤️ if you found this useful. 📎 Stay Updated : @upscandbeyondd
