بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Part Of The Test Al-Imaam Abul-Faraj Ibnul-Jawzi, may Allaah have mercy upon him: "I think part of the test is when a believer supplicates and receives no response, and he repeats the Du'aa (supplication) for a long time and sees no sign of a response. He should realise that this is a test and needs patience. What a person experiences of waswaas (whispers from the devils) when the response is delayed is a sickness which needs medicine. I have experienced this myself. A calamity befell me and I supplicated and did not see any response, and Iblees (the devil) started to lay his traps. Sometimes he said: The generosity (of Allaah) is abundant and He is not miserly, so why is there a delay? I said to him: Be gone, O cursed one, for I have no need of anyone to argue my case and I do not want you as a supporter! Then I told myself: Beware of going along with his whispers, for if there was no other reason for the delay except that Allaah is testing you to see whether you will fight the enemy, that is sufficient wisdom. My nafs (soul) said: How could you explain the delay in the response of Allaah to your prayers for relief from this calamity? I said: It is proven with evidence that Allaah, 'Azza wa Jal, is the Sovereign, and the Sovereign may withhold or give, so there is no point in objecting to Him. Secondly, the wisdom behind that is proven in definitive evidence. I may think that something is good, but wisdom does not dictate it, but the reason for that may be hidden, just as a doctor may do things that appear outwardly to be harmful, intending some good purpose thereby. Perhaps this is something of that nature. Thirdly, there may be an interest to be served by delay, and haste may be harmful. The Prophet, صلى الله عليه وسلم، said: A person will be fine so long as he does not become impatient and says, ‘I prayed but I did not receive any answer.’ Fourthly, the response may be withheld because of some fault in you. Perhaps there was something dubious in what you ate or your heart was heedless at the time when you said the Du'aa, or your punishment is being increased by means of your need being withheld, because of some sin from which you have not repented sincerely. So look for some of these reasons, so that you might achieve your aim. Fifthly, you should examine the intention behind this request, because attaining it may lead to more sin or prevent you from doing some good, so withholding it is better. It was narrated that one of the Salaf used to ask Allaah to help him to go out on campaign, but a voice called out to him: If you go out on campaign you will be taken prisoner, and if you are taken prisoner you will become a Christian! Lastly, perhaps losing what you have missed out on will cause you to turn to Allaah and getting it will distract you from Him. This is obvious, based on the fact that were it not for this calamity you would not have turned to Him, because the real calamity is what distracts you from Him, but what makes you stand before Him is good for you and is in your best interests. If you ponder these things you will focus on what is more beneficial for you, such as correcting a mistake or seeking forgiveness or standing before Allaah and beseeching Him, and forget about what you have missed out on." th bin Abu Sulaym said that Mujahid said that, "The Sabians are between the Majus, the Jews and the Christians. They do not have a specific religion." Similar is reported from Ibn Abi Najih. Similar statements were attributed to Ata and Said bin Jubayr. They (others) say that; the Sabians are a sect among the People of the Book who used to read the Zabur (Psalms), others say that they are a people who worshipped the angels or the stars. It appears that the closest opinion to the truth, and Allah knows best, is Mujahid's statement and those who agree with him like Wahb bin Munabbih, that; the Sabians are neither Jews nor Christians nor Majus nor polytheists. Rather, they did not have a specific religion that they followed and enforced, because they remained living according to their Fitrah (instinctual nature). This is why the idolators used to call whoever embraced Islam a Sabi', meaning, that he abandoned all religions that existed on the earth. Some scholars stated that; the Sabians are those who never received a message by any Prophet. And Allah knows best get Quran App:bit.ly/AlQuranApp

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Al-Baqarah 2:62 English - Tafsir ibn kathir Faith and doing Righteous Deeds equals Salvation in all Times Allah says; إِنَّ الَّذِينَ امَنُواْ وَالَّذِينَ هَادُواْ وَالنَّصَارَى وَالصَّابِيِينَ مَنْ امَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الاخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحاً فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ Verily, those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians (Sabi'in), whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. After Allah described the condition - and punishment - of those who defy His commands, fall into His prohibitions and transgress set limits by committing prohibited acts, He stated that the earlier nations who were righteous and obedient received the rewards for their good deeds. This shall be the case, until the Day of Judgment. Therefore, whoever follows the unlettered Messenger and Prophet shall acquire eternal happiness and shall neither fear from what will happen in the future nor become sad for what has been lost in the past. Similarly, Allah said, أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَأءَ اللَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ No doubt! Verily, the Awliya of Allah, no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve. (10:62) The angels will proclaim to the dying believers, as mentioned, Verily, those who say:"Our Lord is Allah (alone)," and then they stand firm, on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death) (saying):"Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you have been promised!" (41:30) The Meaning of Mu'min, or Believer Ali bin Abi Talhah narrated from Ibn Abbas, about, (Verily, those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day) that Allah revealed the following Ayah afterwards, وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الاِسْلَـمِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِى الاٌّخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَـسِرِينَ And whoever seeks religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. (3:85). This statement by Ibn Abbas indicates that Allah does not accept any deed or work from anyone, unless it conforms to the Law of Muhammad that is, after Allah sent Muhammad. Before that, every person who followed the guidance of his own Prophet was on the correct path, following the correct guidance and was saved. Why the Jews were called Yahud The Jews are the followers of Prophet Musa, who used to refer to the Tawrah for judgment. Yahud is a word that means, repenting', just as Musa said, إِنَّا هُدْنَـا إِلَيْكَ (We have Hudna (we repent, go back and return) unto You), (7:156). Why the Christians were called Nasara Allah said; مَنْ أَنصَارِى إِلَى اللَّهِ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنْصَارُ اللَّهِ "Who will be my helpers in Allah's cause" Al-Hawariyyun said:"We are the helpers of Allah." (61:14) It was said that; they were called Nasara', because they inhabited a land called An-Nasirah (Nazareth), as Qatadah, Ibn Jurayj and Ibn Abbas were reported to have said, Allah knows best. Nasara is certainly plural for Nasran. When Allah sent Muhammad as the Last and Final Prophet and Messenger to all of the Children of Adam, mankind was required to believe in him, obey him and refrain from what he prohibited them; those who do this are true believers. The Ummah of Muhammad was called Mu'minin' (believers), because of the depth of their faith and certainty, and because they believe in all of the previous Prophets and matters of the Unseen. The Sabi'un or Sabians There is a difference of opinion over the identity of the Sabians. Sufyan Ath-Thawri said that Lay

And now people are spreading 'do a global tahajjud' around as if committing bidah is going to help them. Rather it's going to make things worse for us. Sins (bidah being a major sin) only make things worse for the ummah. Repentance and doing good deeds (sincerely for Allaah Alone and in accordance to the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) is what will aid the ummah and bring around victory. This is why having basic knowledge of the fundamentals of the religion is vital. May Allaah guide us to what is pleasing to Him and grant us victory. Allaah knows best.

From the Hadeeth of Ibn 'Abbaas, may Allaah be pleased with them. Some have said this is for when going to the Fajr prayer due to that being mentioned in the Hadeeth, and some have said it can be said when going for all prayers. It has also been narrated that the Du'aa was also said in the prayer, and in prostration, and Allaah knows best.

Umm Kulthuum, the daughter of Abuu Bakr, reported that 'Aaishah, may Allaah be pleased with her, said, "The Prophet, salallaahu' alayhi wa sallam, came to me while I was praying when he needed something. I was taking a long time and he said, ' 'Aaishah, you must make the comprehensive supplication.' When I finished, I asked, 'Messenger of Allaah, what is the comprehensive supplication?' He said, 'Say: O Allaah, I ask You for all good, both sooner and later, what I know of it and what I do not know. I seek refuge with You from all evil, both sooner and later, what I know of it and what I do not know. I ask You for the Paradise and whatever words or actions bring one near to it. I seek refuge with You from the Fire and whatever words or actions bring one near to it. I ask You for what Muhammad sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam asked You for and I seek refuge with You from what Muhammad sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam sought refuge from, and whatever fate You have decreed for me, make its end right guidance.'" بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Have Patience Allaah Is With The Patient Ones - يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer). Truly! Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). [Al-Quraan 2:153] Patience Is At The First Strike Of A Calamity - Anas ibn Malik reported: The Prophet, salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, passed by a woman who was weeping next to a grave. The Prophet, salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, said (translated meaning), “Be mindful of Allaah and be patient.” She said, “Go away from me! You have not been afflicted by a calamity like mine,” and she did not recognize him. Then, she was told that it was the Prophet, so she went to the Prophet’s house and she did not find any guards there. She said to him, “I did not recognize you.” The Prophet, salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, said, “Verily, patience is at the first strike.” Saheeh Al-Bukhaaree, No. 1283, and Saheeh Muslim, No. 926 The Best Way Of Living Is Through Patience - 'Umar Ibnul-Khattaab, may Allaah be pleased with him: "أفضل عيش أدركناه بالصبر ولو أن الصبر كان من الرجال كان كريماً." "The most excellent way of living we attained was through patience, and if patience was from men, he would be honorable." Ibn Abee Dunyaa, The Book Of Patience, Pg. 6 Supplication For Patience - رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ "Our Lord! Pour forth on us patience and make us victorious over the disbelieving people." [Al-Quraan 2:250] May Allaah make us from the patient ones. Join the telegram channel: t.me/FruitsOfKnowledge

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Tafseer Ibn Katheer أَنِّي قَدْ جِيْتُكُم بِأيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ أَنِّي أَخْلُقُ لَكُم مِّنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْيَةِ الطَّيْرِ فَأَنفُخُ فِيهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ "I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, a figure like that of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave." [Tafseer]: These are the miracles that Isa performed; he used to make the shape of a bird from clay and blow into it, and it became a bird by Allah's leave. Allah made this a miracle for Isa to testify that He had sent him. وَأُبْرِىءُ الاكْمَهَ "And I heal him who is Akmah," [Tafseer]: meaning, a person who was born blind,' which perfects this miracle and makes the challenge more daring. والَابْرَصَ "And the leper," which is a known disease. وَأُحْيِـي الْمَوْتَى بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ "And I bring the dead to life by Allah's leave." [Tafseer]: Many scholars stated that Allah sent every Prophet with a miracle suitable to his time. For instance, in the time of Musa, magic was the trade of the time, and magicians held a high position. So Allah sent Musa with a miracle that captured the eyes and bewildered every magician. When the magicians realized that Musa's miracle came from the Almighty, Most Great, they embraced Islam and became pious believers. As for Isa, he was sent during a time when medicine and knowledge in physics were advancing. Isa brought them the types of miracles that could not be performed, except by one sent by Allah. How can any physician bring life to clay, cure blindness and leprosy and bring back to life those entrapped in the grave! Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) was sent during the time of eloquent people and proficient poets. He brought them a Book from Allah; if mankind and the Jinn tried to imitate ten chapters, or even one chapter of it, they will utterly fail in this task, even if they tried to do it by collective cooperation. This is because the Qur'an is the Word of Allah and is nothing like that of the creatures. `Isa's statement, وَأُنَبِّيُكُم بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ "And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses," means, I tell you about what one of you has just eaten and what he is keeping in his house for tomorrow.
