Some of the sunan (acts from the Sunnah) for the day of 'Eidul-Fitr (the rest you can read in the pdf inshaallaah): 1. It is recommended to bathe on this day. Due to the Mursal narration (in which a Tabiee narrates directly from the Prophet, salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) from Ibn Al Mussayib who said: “The Sunnah of (Eid) Al Fitr are three: walking to the Musalla (place of prayer) , eating before going out to the Musalla, and bathing". Al Firyaabi narrated it with a Hasan (good) chain, alongside the narration of Ibn Umar, in Al Muwatta with a good chain that he used to bathe on the day of Al Fitr before he would go out to the Musalla. 2. Beginning the Takbeer after the setting of the sun on the last day of Ramadan due to Allah's statement: وَلِتُكْمِلُوا۟ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ (He wants that you) must complete the same number (of days), and that you must magnify Allah [i.e. to say Takbir (Allahu-Akbar; Allah is the Most Great) on seeing the crescent of the months of Ramadan and Shawwal] for having guided you so that you may be grateful to Him. [2:185] And he stops with the opening Takbeer of the Imam for the Eid prayer. 3. On Eid Al Fitr it is befitting that he eats dates before going out to the Musalla due to the narration of Anas: “The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) would not go out on the day of Al fitr until he ate some dates" [Al-Bukhari] 4. Going out to the Musallah and it shouldn't be prayed in the Masjid except due to an excuse. In the Two Saheehs (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) from the narration of Abu Saeed Al Khudree: The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to proceed to the Musalla on the days of Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adhaa". 🎧 Jumu'ah Khutbah 📝 The Opportunity To Save Yourself From The Fire Isn't Over, Save Yourself! 🕰 25:30 📢 Abū Sulaymān Khālid Al-Ḥātimī 🗓 21st of Ramadān 1443/22nd April 2022 🕋 Masjid Al-Imām Muqbil

What Is The Way Out? Abu Nu'aym reported in (Al Hilyah) on the authority of Al Hasan ibn Ali Al Abid who said: Al Fudayl ibn Iyad asked a man: How old are you? He replied: Sixty years old. He said: You have been heading to Allah for sixty years, you shall reach soon. The man said: O Abu Ali, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. Al Fudayl ibn Iyad said: Do you know its meaning? The man said: What is its meaning, O Abu `Ali? He said: Your saying: "We belong to Allah" means I am a servant to Allah and to Him I shall return. So, whoever knows that he is a servant and to Allah he shall return, should know that he shall stand before Him for reckoning, and whoever knows that he shall stand before Him for reckoning should prepare answers for the questions. The man said: What is the way out? He said: Very simple. He said: What is it? He (Al Fudayl) said: Do good in what remains, you will be forgiven for what has passed, for if you do wrong in what remains, you will be taken account for what has passed and what remains. A Beautiful Hadeeth https://sunnah.com/muslim:187

Shaykh ibn ‘Uthaymeen [may Allāh have mercy on him] said: “O’ my [beloved] brothers: Complete the [blessed] month of Ramadān repenting to Allāh from your sins and turn to Him with actions which are pleasing to Him. Certainly, mankind is not free from error(s) and has deficiencies. All the children of Ādam [عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم] sin and the best of them are those who repent [constantly].” Majālis Shahr Ramadān | Al-Majlis at-Tāsi’ wal ‘Ishrūn | Page 215-216

REMINDER: Don't underestimate the obligatory prayers during these remaining nights, because Maghrib and 'Isha in congregation are the best prayers you can possibly offer during Laylatul Qadr. Yes, Qiyamul Layl will wipe away previous sins if offered with Eman and Ihtisaab, but it's always going to be second best when compared to Maghrib & 'Isha. Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu 'anhu narrated that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: ((أَفْضَلُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْفَرِيضَةِ صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ)) “The best prayer AFTER the obligatory prayer is the night prayer.” [Muslim] The most beloved deeds to Allah are the obligatory ones. https://sunnah.com/riyadussalihin:386 So without doubt, Maghrib -the 3 unit, 5 minute prayer- and 'Isha -the 4 unit, 7 minute prayer- are both equally better than the 11 unit, hour long Qiyamul Layl. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to discourage you from Qiyamul Layl, I'm only reminding you to show greater concern for the obligatory prayers; because for most of us, Maghrib Adhan is called and Salah is established, yet we're still at home digging into the Samosas and Pakoras, but when it comes to Qiyamul Layl, we're in the masjd scrambling for the front row. Furthermore, the Prophet ﷺ said: «مَنْ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَامَ نِصْفَ اللَّيْلِ وَمَنْ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ فَكَأَنَّمَا صَلَّى اللَّيْل كُله» “If anyone prays 'Isha in congregation, it's as though he's prayed half of the night, and if anyone prays Fajr in congregation, it's as though he's prayed the whole night.” [Muslim] There's no point wearing yourself out in Tarawih and Tahajjud if you're going to miss Fajr❗️

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ⭐ *The Superiority of Lailat-ul-Qadr (the Night of Decree)* 🌒 ✍🏼Imâm An-Nawawi رحمه الله تعالى 📒Riyad-us-Sâliheen (Chapter 214) Allaah سبحانه و تعالى  says which translates as: ✨ *“Verily, We have sent it (this Qur’aan) down in the Night of Al-Qadr (Decree). And what will make you know what the Night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? *The Night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e., worshipping Allaah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, i.e., 83 years and 4 months).* *Therein descend the angels and the Ruh (Jibril) by Allaah’s Permission with all Decrees. (All that night), there is peace (and goodness from Allaah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn.”* (97:1-5) ✨ *“We sent it (this Qur’aan) down on a blessed night* [(i.e., the Night of Al-Qadr, Surah No:97) in the month of Ramadhan, the 9th month of the Islaamic calendar]. *Verily, We are ever warning* [mankind that Our Torment will reach those who disbelieve in Our Oneness of Lordship and in Our Oneness of worship]. *Therein* (that night) *is decreed every matter of ordainments* (i.e., the matters of deaths, births, provisions, and calamities for the whole (coming) year as decreed by Allaah). *As a Command* (or this Qur’aan or the Decree of every matter) *from Us. Verily, We are ever sending* (the Messengers). (As) *a Mercy from your Rubb, Verily! He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.”* (44:3-6) ✨1189. Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) reported: The Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said, *“Whosoever performs Qiyam during Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree), with Faith and being hopeful of Allaah’s reward, will have his former sins forgiven.”* [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]. ✨1190. Ibn Umar (رضي الله عنهم) reported: Some of the Companions of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) saw Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree) in their dreams in the last seven nights of Ramadhan, whereupon the Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said, *“I see that your dreams all agree upon the last seven nights. Whosoever seeks it, let him seek it in the last seven nights.”* [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]. ✨1191. Aishah (رضي الله عنها) reported: The Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه و سلم) used to seclude himself (in the mosque) during the last ten nights of Ramadhan. He would say, *“Search for Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree) in the last ten nights of Ramadhan.”* [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]. ✨1192.  Aishah (رضي الله عنها) reported: The Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه و سلم) used to observe Itikaf in the last ten days of Ramadhan and say, *“Seek Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree) in the odd nights out of the last ten nights of Ramadhan.”* [Al-Bukhari]. ✨1193.  Aishah (رضي الله عنها) reported: When the last ten nights (of Ramadhan) would begin, the Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه و سلم) would keep awake at night (for prayer and devotion), awaken his family and prepare himself to be more diligent in worship. [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]. ✨1194.  Aishah (رضي الله عنها) reported: The Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه و سلم) used to strive more in worship during Ramadhan than he strove in any other time of the year; and he would devote himself more (in the worship of Allaah) in the last ten nights of Ramadhan than he strove in earlier part of the month.
