Want to know why? Ideology tests. Upon joining, if you couldn't concretely state your beliefs in a unique matter and have a firm grasp on ideology. So when you have high ideological standards, infiltration becomes very hard as it shows when you're just not passionate about these beliefs and just mimicking. So discuss ideology, read books, have high standards. Keeps out the shitheads. If someone can't be bothered to understand ideology, they aren't worth having around regardless. Having ideological purity is a security issue more so than anything else. Makes it hard to infiltrate but also increases unity within a group.
