As we had discussed in class, a proposal was under discussion to convert GSTN to full gov owned entity, considering the secrecy of data maintained by it. Currently CG and SG collectively had only 49% holding. Now cabinet proposes to increase Gov holding to 100% Note: Not relevant for Nov 2018 exams but only for knowledge purpose
