⛱️ ﷽ ⛱️ ✨ Repentance and Hope ✨ In last week's post we read that turning to Allah and seeking His Mercy requires repentance for one's mistakes. Just as physical space is needed to place something, the heart must be cleared of worldly distractions to fill it with faith and light. This purification, essential for spiritual growth, starts with repentance, as the Quran advises: "And always, O you believers – all of you – turn unto God in repentance, so that you might attain to a happy state!" (An-Nur 24:31). Post #3 🌻 Repentance should be accompanied by a certain feeling that Ibn Ataa’ emphasizes here in this word of wisdom. It is hope in Allah. But why is hope necessary for repentance? And what does this have to do with my journey? This is what Ibn Ataa’ explains here. He says: “If you find yourself having less hope in Allah when you make a mistake, then realize you are only relying on your work, not on Allah’s Mercy.” This means that if you are keen to rely on Allah’s Mercy and put all your trust in Him, make sure that you are not self-righteous! Do not think that you have achieved virtue because of your efforts and deeds. And among the signs of one’s relying on his/her deeds, more than on Allah’s Mercy and Bounty, is the decrease in hope when one makes a mistake. Hope in Him should always be at the same level. ⚜️🤎 Send lots of Salawat upon the Prophet 🤎⚜️ Sending ṣalāwat upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday is better than on the rest of the days, and its night (Thursday night) is the best of nights. He ﷺ said, “Among the best of your days is Friday, so frequently send ṣalāh upon me therein.” الصلاة على النبي ﷺ يوم الجمعة أفضل من بقيّة الأيام، وليلتها أفضل الليالي، قال ﷺ: (إن من أفضل أيامكم يوم الجمعة فأكثروا عليّ من الصلاة فيه) Shaykh Abdel Aziz AlTarefe ❍┈─┅═••࿇✠ ࿇••┅─┄❍ #reminders #friday WhatsApp (Only for sisters 🧕) - https://chat.whatsapp.com/GMmLlVv3SL1IZOMvGn2LU9 Telegram - T.me/Gemsofjannah98 Instagram - https://instagram.com/gemsofjannah_98?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==1

Follow the bad with good & atone for your sins Allah says: “Indeed good deeds erase bad deeds.” (11:114)* If one has wronged another person, one should atone for the sin e.g. ask their forgiveness or supplicate for them. ⭐7. Seek forgiveness during the best time The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Our Lord – Glorified and Exalted is He – descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the night remains and says: ‘Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek My forgiveness, that I may forgive him?’” (Bukhārī) ⭐8. Seek forgiveness in the best manner (See Sayyid al-Istighfār) ⭐9. Make repentance your constant companion The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever wants to be pleased with his scroll of deeds should increase in seeking forgiveness.” (Tabarānī) ‘The state of tawbah is at the beginning, the middle and the end of the slave’s journey to his Creator. The servant who seeks the pleasure of Allah never abandons tawbah. He remains in the state of tawbah until his death.’ (Ibn al-Qayyim raḥimahullāh) Allah says: “Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves.” (2:222) ⭐10. Seek forgiveness for others The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever seeks forgiveness for every male and female believer, Allah will record a good deed for him for every male and female believer.” (Tabarānī) ❍┈─┅═••࿇✠ ࿇••┅─┄❍ #dua WhatsApp (Only for sisters 🧕) - Contact Admins Telegram - https://T.me/Gemsofjannah98 Instagram - https://instagram.com/gemsofjannah_98?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==1

🪴بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته 🌟 📌 *From My Heart to Yours* 🌼 Sometimes, due to trials, our pains become unbearable, and life becomes too difficult . It often seems very difficult to observe patience . We often ask ourselves, 'Is this the end of my dreams? Will my duas ever be answered? Shall I give up?' At such times, step back and tell yourself, 'Allah would not have allowed you to make that du'a if He didn't want to answer it 🙏. Allah would not have allowed that du'a to stay in your heart if it wasn't meant for you' 💖. Maybe the reason behind your du'a not being answered is because you think it won't be answered, or you're hasty in seeking a response 🕰️. It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings be upon Him) said, 'The du'a of any one of you will be answered as long as he is not hasty in seeking a response and does not say, "I prayed, but I have not had a response"' 📖 [Bukhari, Muslim]. So, do not give up and be hasty; it is a sign of arrogance if you do so 🚫. Have tawakkul (trust) that your duas will be answered at the perfect time 🕰️. Keep faith and be patient, for Allah is with you 🌟." •┄┅┅❂❀🌹❀❂┅┅┈• @Gemsofjannah98

⛱️ ﷽ ⛱️ ✨ Repentance and Hope ✨ In the last week's post we read Sheikh Ahmad Ibn `Ataa’illah As-Sakandari emphasizing that if one's faith weakens after making a mistake, it reveals a reliance on personal efforts rather than on God's boundless mercy. He advises those embarking on a spiritual journey not to depend on their good deeds as provisions. Instead, the journey should begin with sincere turning to God, trusting in Him alone, and hoping for His mercy to guide them. The concept underscores that Allah's mercy isn't contingent solely on one's deeds but is constant despite human shortcomings. Thus, starting with reliance on Allah's mercy sets the right foundation for spiritual growth. Post #2 🌻 But both turning to Allah and hoping for His Mercy have to be accompanied by repentance from one’s mistakes and errors. According to Allah’s universal laws, if one wants to put anything in a certain place, there should be room and space for this addition. Faith and light are no exception. Thus, if I want to fill my heart with faith, light and Allah’s remembrance, I should first create some room in my heart that is not occupied with all sorts of objects and desires. Only then can I fill my heart with goodness, or as the Sufi expression goes: Purity, then beauty, then light (al-takhalli thum al-tahalli thum al-tajalli). Therefore, I must start this journey with repenting to God from my shortcomings. {And always, O you believers – all of you – turn unto God in repentance, so that you might attain to a happy state!}.(An-Nur 24: 31) To be continued...✍🏻 #motivational_series WhatsApp (Only for sisters 🧕) - https://chat.whatsapp.com/GMmLlVv3SL1IZOMvGn2LU9 Telegram - T.me/Gemsofjannah98 Instagram - https://instagram.com/gemsofjannah_98?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
