✨ Welcome, O Month of Mercy! 🌙💖
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained." (Bukhari, Muslim)
Indeed, we have entered the most blessed season of the year—a time when the doors of Allah’s mercy swing wide open, His forgiveness pours upon us, and His rewards are multiplied beyond measure. 🌟💛
This is the month of renewal, where hearts are purified, souls are uplifted, and our connection with our Creator is strengthened. Let us welcome Ramadan with open hearts, eager to seek His pleasure, earn His forgiveness, and be among those granted salvation from the Fire. 🔥➡️🌿
May this Ramadan be a source of immense blessings for you and your loved ones. May your fasts be accepted, your prayers be answered, and your hearts be filled with tranquility and faith. 🤲💖
🌙 رمضان مبارك! 🌙
Team Gems of Jannah
Satan is locked away in Ramadan, but the thieves of Ramadan are back! 😱
Beware of these 9 Thieves of Ramadan…
1. The Watch-maker - a thief who corrupts your fasts, reduces its rewards, and wastes your time by making you watch shameless & worthless stuff on TV & Netflix!
2. The Personal Shopper - a thief who specialises in stealing your money and time in malls and markets, and does not let you spend in charity…
3. The Night Bandit - He makes you waste Ramadan nights playing games, hanging out with friends, instead of worshipping Allah and having a good night’s sleep…
4. Mr. Sleepy - He is in cahoots with the night bandit. The night bandit keeps you up throughout the night, mr. sleepy makes sure you sleep throughout the day, missing work and salah in the masjid.
5. The Foodie - She specialises in tricking you into thinking that Ramadan is all about food and spending days and nights preparing different dishes, instead of trying to get closer to Allah…
6. Mr. Angry - He makes you believe that since you are hungry, it is ok for you to be angry and in a bad mood, lashing out at everyone!
7. The Sin-maker - Keeps you in long unnecessary calls, random chats and meetings! this thief makes you backbite, slander, waste your time and sin in Ramadan, without you even knowing it!
8. Mr. Stingy - He is a thief pretending to be your friend! makes you stingy when you think of charity, and makes you rich when you want to waste it! He thieves you from all the rewards you can earn through charity in Ramadan!
9. The Socialiser - Some consider him to be the ringleader of thieves! He makes you waste your days and nights watching, posting, showing off, backbiting, sinning, slandering, arguing and spending money on random stuff you don’t need on social media, ruining the rewards of your fasting!
You have been warned!
Save yourself and your family from the thieves of ramadan, by sharing this poster series with them...
May Allah make this your best Ramadan yet!
💌 How to Connect to the Qur’an This Ramadan ❤️
Ramadan is the month of the Qur’an, and the best way to connect with it is by following these practical steps:
1. Recite the Qur’an abundantly – Aim for at least one full reading (khatmah) and increase from previous years.
2. Read Tafsīr – Study the meaning of selected sūrahs using reliable tafsīr sources.
3. Reflect on the Qur’an (Tadabbur) – Ponder over its verses and their lessons, possibly through journaling.
4. Listen to the Qur’an – Improve tajwīd, memorization, and connection by listening to recitations.
5. Share Qur’anic stories – Teach family and friends the wisdom in Qur’anic stories.
6. Learn and repeat Qur’anic du‘ās – Focus on one du‘ā’ daily and reflect on its meaning.
7. Memorize portions of the Qur’an – Even two lines per day will add up significantly over time.
8. Engage with the Qur’an in prayer – Pause during recitation to make du‘ā’ at verses of mercy and seek refuge at verses of punishment.
9. Vary recitation in Ṣalāh – Use different memorized sūrahs to enhance focus and connection.
10. Live by the Qur’an – Choose a Qur’anic quality to embody throughout Ramadan and beyond.
May Allah make us among the People of the Qur’an!
