🌙 THE FIRST TEN DAYS OF DHUL HIJJAH- SERIES 🌙                     PART 2️⃣ Virtues of the first Ten Days of Dhu’l-Hijjah - 1⃣ ➡️ The virtues of these  first ten days of Dhul Hijjah have been stated in the Qur’aan as follows:  ✨Allaah (The Most High) said وَالفَجرِ وَلَيَالٍ عَشرٍ By the dawn; By the ten nights (i.e. the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah) [Soorah al-Fajr: Ayah: 1-2] 📌Imaam Ibn katheer (rahimahullaah) said that the intended meaning behind this verse is the first ten days of Dhul-Hijja as stated by Ibn Abbaas, Ibn Zubayr, Mujaahid and other than them.  And this has also been reported by Imaam Bukhaari. ✨Allaah (The Most High) also said, وَيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْلُومَاتٍ [الحج: 82] And mention the Name of Allah on appointed days Ibn Abbas said: They are the (first) ten days. This is why it is recommended to increase in making takbeer (saying Allaahu akbar), tahleel (saying Laa ilaaha illallaah) and tamheed (saying Alhamdulillaah) during these days …” 📚Tafseer Ibn katheer. اَلسَّـــــلامُ عَلَــيــْكُمْ وَرَحْمَـــةُاللهِ وَبَرَكَــاتُهُ🌸 أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ  🌸                    Purify Yourself ⭐Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh) wrote: In this world, the sinner can be purified in one of three rivers: 🎗️1. A river of sincere repentance; 🎗️2. A river of good deeds that drowns the sins; 🎗️3. A river of calamities that wipe away his sins. 🔹If these do not suffice in purifying him, then he will be purified in the river of Hell-fire in the hereafter. Therefore, when Allah intends good for His slave, He enters him into one of these three rivers, so he comes purified and cleansed on the Day of Judgement, not requiring the fourth purification. 🔹So swim in the river of repentance and doing good deeds, and have patience in the river of calamities. 🌙 THE FIRST TEN DAYS OF DHUL HIJJAH - SERIES 🌙                   PART 1️⃣            ✳️ DAYS of VIRTUE       and RIGHTEOUS deeds. ✳️ 🎓 Ibn Rajab Rahimahullaah, in his monumental work (al-Lataa’if,p.8) wrote, "Praise be to Allaah Who has Created Time and Has made SOME times BETTER than others, some months and days and nights better than others, when REWARDS are MULTIPLIED many times, as a mercy towards His slaves. This encourages them to do MORE RIGHTEOUS deeds and makes them more EAGER to worship Him, so that the Muslim RENEWS his efforts to gain a greater share of reward, prepare himself for death and supply himself in readiness for the Day of Judgement. This season of worship brings many benefits, such as the opportunity to CORRECT one’s FAULTS and make up for any SHORTCOMINGS or anything that one might have missed. Every one of these special occasions INVOLVES some kind of WORSHIP through which the slaves may draw CLOSER to ALLAAH, and some kind of blessing though which Allaah bestows His favour and mercy upon whomsoever He will. The HAPPY person is the one who makes the MOST of these SPECIAL months, DAYS and hours and draws nearer to his Lord during these times through acts of worship; he will most likely be TOUCHED by the BLESSING of Allaah and will feel the joy of knowing that he is SAFE from the FLAMES of Hell. ➡️ One such season which is going to start soon in sha Allaah is the "First Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah." Dhul Hijjah is in the middle of the three Consecutive SACRED Months from the four about which Allaah SubhaanaHu wa Ta'ala said, ."أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ" To be continued in sha Allaah.
