Update from my friend in Shanghai: My neighbors got taken away. They called me to go to a hotel... Did not pick up the phone. They wanted to take us, and the neighbors upstairs AND downstairs. So in an apartment building they may end up taking half a building... Apparently they are installing testing boxes all over the country (like the one in the video above) Haven't seen them yet, but heard that hundreds were already installed in Shanghai My Health Pass QR code now has a mention "did last test within 24 hours" When it exceeds 24 hours, it says "48" Yesterday we had to provide "emergency contacts" to the community manager in my building (aka the Building Snitch) Three days ago I got an SMS from the area community asking me to reply with ID, name and phone (I ignored) I learned something quite bad from multiple sources: Chinese who try to leave with valid passports are brought to the "Police Box" at the airport. They are interrogated, their phone is searched, luggage...
