♦️आज आंतराष्ट्रीय साक्षरता दिवस : ८ सप्टेंबर २०२३
👉 १९६५ मध्ये, UNESCO ने आपल्या १४ व्या सर्वसाधारण परिषदेत ८ सप्टेंबर हा ''आंतरराष्ट्रीय साक्षरता दिवस'' म्हणून घोषित केला.
👉 प्रथम साजरा :- ८ सप्टेंबर १९६६
👉 उद्देश्य :- साक्षरतेच्या महत्त्वाविषयी समाजात जागरुकता वाढवणे..
☑️२०२३ ची थीम :- "Promoting Literacy For a World in Transition: Building the Foundation for Sustainable and Peaceful Societies."
☑️भारताचा साक्षरता दर :-
• जगातील १२७ देशांपैकी १०१ देश असे आहेत जे पूर्ण साक्षरतेपासून दूर आहेत, ज्यात भारताचाही समावेश आहे.
• २०११ पर्यंतच्या आकडेवारीनुसार, भारतातील ७४ टक्के नागरिक साक्षर आहेत, तर ब्रिटिश राजवटीत केवळ १२ टक्के लोक साक्षर होते.
• सध्याच्या आकडेवारीनुसार, भारताचा साक्षरता दर ७४.०४% आहे.
• राज्यांनुसार, केरळमध्ये सर्वाधिक ९३.९१ टक्के साक्षरता आहे आणि बिहारमध्ये सर्वात कमी ६३.८२ टक्के आहे.
• २०३० पर्यंत देश १०० टक्के साक्षर करण्यासाठी आजपासून ''नवभारत साक्षरता कार्यक्रमा''ला सुरुवात होत आहे.

MP gvt - Learn and Earn scheme ( Seekho- kamao yojana)
The 12th pass students, graduate, post graduate and diploma holders will be eligible for the scheme.
In lieu of learning, students will get the stipend per month.
12th pass student --₹8000,
ITI pass out -- ₹ 8500
diploma holder -- ₹ 9000
higher degree holders -- ₹10,000

🔆International Year Of Millets (Iyom) 2023
✅FAO side event on International Year of Millets (IYOM) 2023 was held during the Ninth Session of the Governing Body (GB-9) of the International Treaty (Food and Agricultural Organisation) being hosted by the Government of India in New Delhi.
✅The side event on IYOM-2023 focussed on celebrating Millets’ farmers.
✅To bring back millets and create domestic, and global demand and to provide nutritional food to the people, the Government of India decided to mark the National Year of Millets in 2018.
✅In 2021, India proposed to United Nations for declaring 2023 as the International Year of Millets (IYOM).
✅The proposal of India got support from 72 countries and United Nation's General Assembly (UNGA) declared 2023 as the International Year of Millets.
