Trump: "History has proven that those who tried to destroy Israel - disappeared"
The Palestinian Authority will only be able to take control of Gaza after completing the nearly impossible reforms of the Trump 2020 plan
Hamas will have no involvement in governance and will undergo full disarmament - with an international commitment.
The United States and other countries will ensure the immediate deployment of an international stabilizing force in Gaza.
There will be no annexation or occupation of Gaza by Israel.
Map legend:
The blue line - current
Yellow - release of hostages
Red - with disarmament
Main points of the Trump plan, according to journalist Amit Segal:
The hostages will be returned within 72 hours of signing the agreement
250 murderers will be released
Any Hamas member who surrenders their weapon will receive a pardon and will be able to leave
Gaza will be managed by a temporary government run by a technocratic committee of Palestinians and internationals under the supervision of a peace council headed by Trump and Tony Blair
There will be no forced departure. Residents will be encouraged to stay to build a "better Gaza." But residents will be free to leave and return freely.
Trump: Countries recognized a Palestinian state foolishly - if the PA does not implement the reforms, they can only blame themselves
Trump: Netanyahu opposes a Palestinian state and I understand his position.
Trump: If Hamas rejects the deal - Bibi, you have my support to do what you need to do!
Netanyahu's Office: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a phone call with the Prime Minister of Qatar:
"Mr. Prime Minister, I want you to know that Israel regrets that one of your citizens was killed in our strike.
I want to assure you that Israel targeted Hamas, not Qataris.
I also want to assure you that Israel has no plan to violate your sovereignty again in the future, and I have committed to the President.
I know that your leadership has complaints against Israel and Israel has complaints against Qatar, ranging from support for the Muslim Brotherhood to the way Israel is portrayed on Al Jazeera to support for anti-Israel sentiments on college campuses.
I welcome the President's idea to establish a trilateral group to address the complaints of our two countries."
The White House reveals Trump's plan to end the Gaza war
The White House presents President Trump's proposal *for an immediate ceasefire and a political way forward*:
🔸 Peace framework: The U.S. will mediate dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians for long-term coexistence.
🔸 Hostages and prisoners: All hostages (alive and dead) will be returned within 72 hours of Israel's acceptance; in return, Israel will release 250 world prisoners and 1,700 detainees.
🔸 Ceasefire conditions: All military actions are suspended; IDF withdrawal depends on milestones of disarmament.
🔸 Future of Gaza: To become a "terror-free and de-radicalized zone" under a temporary Palestinian technocratic government with international stabilization forces.
🔸 Hamas status: Not part of Gaza's government; members who disarm may receive immunity or safe passage abroad.
🔸 Aid and reconstruction: Immediate humanitarian aid, unlimited distribution through the UN/Red Crescent, creation of a special economic zone, and an economic development plan led by Trump for Gaza's rehabilitation.
🔸 Guarantees: Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza; residents remain free to stay, leave, or return.
On the morning of Britain’s recognition of a Palestinian state, a Telegraph poll reveals overwhelming opposition in the UK to unconditional recognition. Even 89% of Labour voters themselves oppose the move.
An absolute majority of 51% of the British public object to recognition as long as Hamas controls Gaza, and another 40% demand conditions of dismantling Hamas and returning the hostages.
