Grammar B. Literature C. Pedagogy D. Reading Comprehension I. GRAMMAR (daily 1 and 1/2 hours) a. Do not jump directly on solving MCQs. It serves no purpose if your basics are not clear. b. Start with basic books (Read and Solve) *Wren and Martin- Primary, Middle School, High School *OUP- The Grammar Tree- Grade V, VI, VII, VIII c. Only after you have solved these books, proceed towards advance books  like *Usha Pandit- Learning with fun- Grade IV, V, VI, VII * Oxford Practice Grammar- Basic ( Norman Cole) * Oxford Practice Grammar- Intermediate ( John Eastwood) d. After this practice, any MCQ book can be solved to ensure revision II. LITERATURE ( daily 2 hours) a. Do not waste your money on buying material packages when everything is available for free. b. Avoid You Tube videos. People with half baked knowledge create them and it distorts your attention span. c. Include both theory and MCQs in your study plan. d. Books for theory *Pramod Nayar- A Short History of English Literature (DETAILED STUDY) *Pramod Nayar- Contemporary Literary and Cultural Theory *Pramod Nayar- Postcolonial Literature (DETAILED STUDY) *Krishna Sen and Ashok Sengupta- A Short History of American Literature *Abrams- A Glossary of Literary Terms *Any book for Indian literature in English e. For MCQ * WR Goodman- 5800 Objective questions * Ivan K Masih- An objective approach to  English Literature *Previous year NET papers III. PEDAGOGY (daily 1 hour) a. E-gyankosh - B Ed Study Material b. First read the material, understand the basic framework. This will help you solve questions which needs critical thinking. c. Solve any basic MCQ book Or questions on apps like Grade up/Adda/ Telegram App. IV. READING COMPREHENSION ( 1 hour/ every 2 day) ( News daily) a. This is the trickiest part as it depends on a lot of factors b. Develop the habit of reading news daily especially the editorials. This will increase your reading speed and inference ability. c. Learn the meaning and context of any new word you see in the news article you read. d. Solve the RCs meant for CSE( use any app that is regular in uploading free quizzes) TAKEAWAY 1. Do not use multiple sources to read about one topic in Literature. 2. Don't rely on YouTube videos- they are inaccurate, hamper your attention span and waste time 3. Do not buy test series or app membership. (They are a waste of money.) 4. Admin here has curated all the previous year questions. They are the ultimate practice tool. 5. Include both reading and MCQs in your schedule. 6. Learn to create memory points I. E. Do not try to mug up stuff. Language subject needs intuition so focus on that. 7.
