Internet: I’ve been saving the best for last…
ThinMint: I don’t think I’m ready.
Internet: Abraham Lincoln had other children you didn’t know about. He sent his son, William Wallace to Libya where he became Omar Mokhtar, a Freedom Fighter who is the grandfather of JFK.
ThinMint: Yeah, I’m definitely not ready for this.
Internet: [Raises eyebrows up and down a few times]
ThinMint: I’m done.
Internet: But, it’s true!
ThinMint: You know what, this world has gone completely topsy-turvy so that little theory wouldn’t shock me. But, I can’t. I just can’t. There are some really serious things happening in the world, and I just want to make good memories for my kids.
Internet: Hey, where are you going?!
ThinMint: I need a break from you, Internet.
Internet: Here, let me show you a nice video of a giraffe playing the kazoo.
ThinMint: I’m in!

Internet: Hey, I know we had a rocky closing time together last night, but I want to make it up to you by sharing some incredible news with you today.
ThinMint: [perks up] They’re making political arrests public?!
Internet: No. But, look what I can offer you today. Are you ready?
ThinMint: [shoves some chocolate in the pie hole] Let’s do this.
Internet: Remember me telling you that Princess Diana was still alive?
ThinMint: Yeeeessss?
Internet: Well, she’s married to Trump and is part of the Q team!
ThinMint: What happened to Melania?
Internet: Depends on who you ask. Some think that Melania went away after her contract was up, while others think it's Princess Di wearing a mask.
ThinMint: Why would…
Internet: This is so true! Exciting isn’t it?!
ThinMint: So who had Barron?
Internet: He is Trump and Diana’s son.
ThinMint: I found a picture of Barron when he was a tot and I can clearly see Melania in his looks.
Internet: Trump and Princess Diana have a son and daughter together, and Di is the Queen of the New 1776 America.
ThinMint: [mumbles]
Internet: What’s that?! I can make sure you never get this kind of cutting edge gossip again you know!
ThinMint:
Internet:
ThinMint: And I can ignore you.
Internet: [pauses] Touché.

Internet: Stay with me.
ThinMint: Yeah?
Internet: Rush Limbaugh didn’t die. He went to the med beds.
ThinMint: Why wouldn’t he go to the med beds to get healed then return raring to go?
Internet: Well, it turns out that he’s Jim Morrison.
ThinMint: As in the Doors, Jim Morrison?
Internet: Yes, amazing isn’t it?!
ThinMint: *sighs* Why would Rush leave not only a very lucrative career, but give up everything so precious to him?
Internet: [ignoring ThinMint] If you take a look at this photo, you can see where Rush had some reconstructive surgery to…
ThinMint: Stop.
Internet: Look at this picture. Jim and Rush have the same…
ThinMint: [goes to bed]
5 506
Internet: Well, it gets even better.
ThinMint: Lay it on me.
Internet: Elvis Presley is also alive!
ThinMint: Oh no. Not you, too.
Internet: Yep!
ThinMint: *sigh*
Internet: He’s been living as Bob Joyce, a preacher man in Arkansas.
ThinMint: [types warily]
Internet: Well?
ThinMint: I can see how some might think that…
Internet: *smiles*
ThinMint: But, I can see some flaws in that thinking as well. I ain’t feeling the whole Bob The Pastor is Elvis The Pelvis connection.
Internet: *frowns*
ThinMint: I did come across this photo of Trump, and I have to say, it’s reminiscent of 1970s Elvis...
Internet: *grins hopefully*
5 506
Internet: Did you know that Princess Di is alive as well?
ThinMint: Um, no.
Internet: She knew what the English monarchy was doing in secret, and Q helped her get out.
ThinMint: Seems legit.
Internet: If you look at her gravesite it’s in the shape of a Q.
ThinMint: [type, type, type] Huh.
Internet: So, what do you think?
ThinMint: That would be lovely as I think she had such a kind soul. Hope she made plans for her children, too. Also, can I just add that I think it was utterly tasteless for Elton John to recycle an old song as her memorial tribute. It’s kind of like giving your new wife your ex-wife’s wedding ring.
Internet:
ThinMint: Just sayin’
ThinMint: Oh, and I’m in!

Internet: Michael Jackson is still alive, too. Look at this pic of his Neverland Ranch. Notice what’s in the upper right hand corner of the yard.
ThinMint: Whaaa? I'm pretty sure that’s a penguin relieving himself.
Internet: It’s the letter “Q,” you weirdo.
ThinMint: So he didn’t, you know…
Internet: No! It was all made up by the Cabal because they wanted to silence him.
ThinMint: So where has he been?
Internet: There’s this guy called The Weekend. If you listen to some of his songs it sounds like Michael’s distinct vocals. Some think that Michael wears a mask to look like The Weekend. Or maybe Michael had reconstructive surgery to look like The Weekend. Or maybe The Weekend is Michael’s son. And while some believe that The Weekend’s videos are satanic in nature, like his Super Bowl performance for example, the videos are actually Q messages sticking it to the Cabal. Here’s a clip of Michael Jackson clearly walking out of the ambulance. Notice…
ThinMint: This all sounds completely rational. I'm in!
5 506
Internet: JFK Jr is still alive.
ThinMint: Really?!? That would be totally awesome!
Internet: Yeah, he had to fake his own death as the Cabal wanted him taken out.
ThinMint: I’m in!
Internet: Wait! There’s more! Some think he’s sharing an identity with a Vincent Fusca and that…
ThinMint: Say no more. I’m in.
Internet: He might even be…
ThinMint: I said, “I’m in.”

Felix is an unassuming, even-keeled kind of man. I’m a goofball. It makes for some very interesting confabulations!
We occasionally enjoy discussing some conspiracy theories, seeking the why behind the suspicions and conjectures. In our humble opinion, some have merit, some are nonsensical. Some theories are quite somber, some are preposterous.
Even after all these years I’m pleasantly surprised when I get chuckles from him. In honor of Felix, I am bringing back a few humorous takes on conspiracy theories that we’ve encountered over the years. Ones that amused him specifically.
(PS – For the Serious Minded Folks Out There™ this is all in good fun)

I invite you to step off the trail for a few moments and consider what is in your backpack. Lay it all out on the table and take a good look. And when you’re ready to repack, stop trying to fit it all in. Be selective. Leave some items on the table. Keep your load light enough to enjoy the journey, not just endure it. In the process you will find it easier to focus wholeheartedly on those who are walking beside you.”

Why indeed…
Why haven’t I made more time to take my family to the park?
Why haven’t I made more time for helping friends and neighbors?
Why haven’t I made more time for reading my bible?
I feel led to share with you words from Sonya Shafer, who is well-known in the homeschool community for explaining and advancing the Charlotte Mason philosophy. One precept she cultivates earnestly is basically less is more.
She says, “It’s easy to get caught up in the mentality that we’ve got to add more: we must do more, we must get more, and our children must study more. More, more, more! But the funny thing is that when we keep adding more, we usually end up with less of what really matters… The more activities and appointments we add to our schedule, the less flexible we can be to minister to needs that arise around us in the moments of life.
The more stuff we add to our homes, the more those possessions vie for our attention, and the less focused we can become on people’s hearts. The more information we try to stuff into our children’s heads, the less their brains can process and the less they enjoy learning ... discover the richness that simplicity can bring to your schedule, your home, and your children’s education… More rest means less fatigue. More time outside means less tension. More planning means less pressure. More contentment means less anxiety. More simplicity means less confusion.”
She also shared, “There was once a man named Bill, who decided to go for a hike from Georgia to Maine on the Appalachian Trail. A distance of about 2,000 miles. Six months of hiking, sleeping on the ground, and cooking meals outside. So he went to a local outfitters and they laid out everything he would need, packed it all into a backpack, and strapped it on his back. It wasn’t exactly featherweight, but it was manageable.
Bill’s friend Stephen offered to come along on this journey with him. So he took Stephen to the same outfitters, and they got him equipped with the same 40-pound backpack of essentials for the hike. But Stephen decided he needed to add more items for the journey. He decorated his pack with various footwear and cooking utensils, extra tins and boxes of food, and a huge shopping bag that was stuffed with who-knows-what-all and tied onto the top.
As they started off on the trail, Bill gazed eagerly at the beautiful scenery, breathed deeply in the fresh air, and enjoyed the feeling of freedom that surrounded them.
But the farther they walked, the more disgruntled Stephen became. He kept shifting the weight of his bulky pack. Soon he started muttering under his breath and then complaining quite loudly about his tired feet, his heavy load, his aching back, and the rough terrain.
Stephen added all those things because he thought they would make the journey more pleasant. Instead, they ended up being a hindrance.
… the things that we carry with us can mean the difference between enjoying the journey or just enduring it.
We may start out taking just the things that are needful, but it’s so easy to add one more thing and then one more thing and then just one more, until suddenly we realize that all that More has become a hindrance and we are staggering under the weight of it all. The more clutter we haul—in our schedules, our homes, and our children’s education—the less free we are to focus on what is most important: relationships.
You see, when your backpack is weighed down with an overload of busyness or possessions or schoolwork, that burden soon becomes your focus, rather than those who are traveling the trail with you. Yet, if we are to have the same priorities that Jesus did, people should matter more than any activities, any things, or any information.

We want to know what part of the world our Faithful Prayer Warriors are located. If you’re comfortable sharing, a city, but definitely a state. Or country. And if you asked others located somewhere else to pray, please let us know that location, too. I plan to create a something crafty of all the places prayers were lifted up on our behalf ❤️

Felix continues to make incremental progress. However, the dizziness is still greatly impacting him –hindering headway. The therapist did give him specific exercises to do which helped a little. We’ll see an ENT to verify if his crystals need recalibrating (sounds New Agey, but it’s not). Add this to the hematologist, pulmonologist, cardiologist and neurologist he also needs to see.
I asked him if he has “survivor’s guilt” and he said he did not. He does ask God “why” a lot, but hasn’t felt His answer. Yet.
I think it’s important that we are aware of not just the physical impact covid has, but the mental and emotional toll it takes. So, I have been wanting to do this for awhile and I think the time has come to ask this of you…

Hope y’all fared well with the winter weather that hit parts of the US. I’m glad we didn’t lose power. Whenever that happens I get this sudden urge to bake cookies. Or use the microwave. Anyone else?
Yesterday was Felix’s birthday. No fanfare, just kept it simple. You know that picture I shared a few weeks ago with our 5 year-old daughter on his lap? One of our neighbor-friends is a glorious artist and painted that moment on canvas as a gift for him.
After a birthday lunch, we took the kids to a park we had not visited since I was pregnant with Number Four. As we entered the park, a speed limit sign caught our attention as it stated 17 mph. We’re not reading anything to it –we were just amused. The other thing that grabbed my attention was thinking, “Why don’t we do this more often?”
Why indeed*
*More on this later as it’s got my wheels turning, asking God questions…

The Good News is back, y’all! We should totally celebrate 😃
Now that I wrapped this up, I am going to watch Lord of the Rings with my two oldest this evening. And eat some birthday cake. To celebrate Friday. And Tolkein. And family. And life.
Y’all take some time this weekend to enjoy all of God’s goodness in the manner that best suits you. And definitely eat some cookies 😊

I think the United States gave that message when it invaded Syria. I think the United States gave that message when they murdered Qaddafi in Libya.
