This beautiful and powerful prayer is from our @TerriF: Oh Lord of all, we come before Your throne and praise Your beautiful and glorious name. You are our Savior, our redeemer and our deliverer!! You are our strength when we are weak. You are our voice when we cannot speak. We humbly bow before Your alter and we recognize Your power and sovereignty over our lives. Nothing is too big for You! We pick up our cross today and we plunge forward with our shields of faith upon us. We fight the good fight with You before us. We choose to not waver and to be strong in YOUR power. We are your soldiers Lord, and we come armed with Your Word to do battle in this life. We are over-comers because You are our ally. We are strong and bold and courageous because of this! We speak with the authority You left us and we proclaim positive results of any trial we walk through. We give You glory and honor and praise. We adore You. In Jesus name.

God is with us.

Good morning! Let's be content today!

With much prayerful consideration, I have taken some baby steps towards tapping into creating... stuff. While I work on some writings for publication, I also have discovered the joy of creating graphic t-shirts 😃 I have a business name now and some other boring grownup stuff the People In Charge make you do. It's just a matter of deciding which direction to take all this. And trying to grasp the legalese 🥴 (Does anyone read and understand legalese? And can explain it to me as if I'm a pre-schooler? I'll need pie charts, snacks, and some naptime.) Nothing ready to launch yet as mommy and wifey duties take priority. Plus, I get easily distracted with music, cookies, 80s trivia, cookies, conspiracy theories, cookies, memes, cookies... So, we've been through a lot and there's still so much more to go through. But, we'll get through it with memes, cookies, and Jesus. Thanks for hanging out in my little ThinMint World, a teeny-tiny molecule of Internet World. Also, if there's ever a get together this side of Heaven, it wouldn't be what other Patriots offer. No conventions, no hotels, no special guest speakers. Instead, we'll rent some cool cabins in the mountains and there will be endless campfires and s'mores, laughing, excellent food, music, chatting and sharing and connecting... And lots of chilling. And we'll offer a toast to Fernando.

Well my dearest friends, it's been 4 years since I kicked off the ThinMint channel! How appropriate that it started with humor 😃 Countless lame cookie jokes, Comedy Wednesdays, along with the most dire circumstances of my life, so many of you have been along for the bumpy (but hopefully fun!) ride. With all my heart, thank you 😊 And I love y'all!

Challenge #27

Elton Trueblood put it this way, “Faith is not belief without proof, but trust without reservation.” Strength comes from choosing to fully trust, pray, and praise, even when our circumstances may not change, but in the process we change. God promises to work everything for our good. “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

Many fine folks will be impacted (and already have been) by the storms moving across our beautiful land. This does look unusual on the radar in that it's not a massive wall of angry bearing down, but pockets of roughness scattering across many states. Shock and sorrow fill us when we see devastated landscapes, homes... but, it's always the loss of life that renders us truly heartbroken. We've prepared as best we can and I'm tempted to preemptively eat some ice cream as we expect the power to be knocked out. My main focus will be trying to calm our two littlest. One of them knows the nuances of worrying. Glow sticks and promises of not getting any ice cream helps maintain a little order (I obviously exemplify finesse parenting skills) 😏 I'm claiming Philippians 4:7 over our household. I would remind my dearest friends that peace isn't the absence of distress, trials... storms. It's resting in the presence of God.
