Permanent ID Cards All Students who have got their temporary Library Card from library on or before 17-09-2024, may obtain the Permanent ID cards by following the steps given below: 1. Check your details (Name, Roll No., Validity, Phone, Email, Blood Group, Address, Branch and Date of Birth) in the Library OPAC. 2. Submit your temporary Library Cards mentioning "My Details are Correct" on the back side of it along with your signature and current date in the Library. 3. Date of Collecting the Permanent ID Cards will be notified on telegram Channel of Library. The students who would like to make any correction in their data may contact Mr. Suresh in the Central Library. It is not possible to make any corrections after the printing of the Permanent ID Card.

Nitin Paliwal: Dear Students, The book in the Book Bank section were purchased using the Special SC ST grant provided by the State/Central government. That's why these are issued to them first. There is no discrimination in the books purchased through regular grants. Not even a single book has been procured in this section during my tenure at NITH (i.e. 23-02-2015 to 31-07-24). As far as I remember the last purchase was made during either in 2005 or 2010. This is a regular practice that is being followed since receiving this grant. The details of this special grant for SC ST students is available in the library. Hardly 100 books issued from this collection in a semester as most of the books are outdated It seems some people want to destroy the harmony of the institute. We all should make sure not to act such rumour or misinterpreted information. It may be possible that some other similar messages or posts will appear in future to destroy our institute. It's time when all of us stand together and don't let these enemies of our institute take advantage of our ignorance. All of you are very intelligent people. You know what to do. I have full trust in you.

Important Notice for ID Cards All UG/PG 2024 Students (M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Sc., MBA etc.) and Research Scholars (PhD) who have not filled the form for Identity Card may submit their form for ID Card before 05-09-2024. After that no form will be accepted.

Steps for obtaining ID Card (for Batch 2024) 1. Fill the Google form available at https://forms.gle/xrZUkGbCnPXabMkQ8 . The photo uploaded on this Google from will be printed on your ID Card. 2. Fill the details in the Physical Student ID Card Form which has been collected from the library. 3. Get it checked from Helpdesk of Library. 4. Obtain blank Temporary ID card from Helpdesk of Library and fill it. 5. Submit the ID Card form and Temporary ID Card in Library on Helpdesk.

Dear students, Make sure to Print  both the sides of the registration on the opposite sides of the same sheet.

Dear Students, It is mandatory to obtain the Signature of Incharge (Central Library) on the Registration forms. The schedule for obtaining Signatures from the Library on Next Year Registration Form on 23-07-2024 is given below: Final and Super Final year Students: Morning 09:30 AM to 11: 00 AM Third Year Students : Morning 11:00 AM to 12: 30 PM Second Year Students : 02:00 PM to 03: 30 PM All Other Students : 03:30 PM to 05:00 PM Venue: Reading Hall at the First Floor of the Reading Area of the Central Library (Opposite Auditorium). Make to return all the books and pay the Overdue Fine, if any, in the Main Library i.e. near the Lecturer Hall Complex. Your friends may also obtain the Signature from the Library on your behalf.

No Dues from Library Dear Student, Make sure to obtain the No Dues Certificate physically from the Central Library after submitting your ID Card in the Central Library to avoid unnecessary delay in returning your caution Money. In case of any problem contact Incharge, Central Library.

Dear Students, Make sure to return all the books and pay the Overdue Fine before leaving for the Holidays. You may check your books and fine on OPAC System available at the library or by opening Library Website from Computer Lab-2

Dear Students, The Computer Lab-2 (i.e. Top Floor of New Computer Center) which is situated near New Lecturer Hall Complex has been temporarily converted into Reading Hall to provide Internet Access to the Students of NIT Hamirpur. You may use this facility from05:30 PM today itself.
