โ๏ธ "I didn't kill normal people"
Sergey Shipilov, better known as the "Arkhangelsk murderer", killed at least 14 people and committed 9 rapes. But he was in no hurry to consider himself guilty: during the interrogation, the maniac justified his actions as follows:
"I didn't kill normal people. I stop, I look, I sit down to myself, we drive, we talk. If a normal girl, then I bring her to the place, help with what I need, and let her go, and if a prostitute, then to the forest. It will stay there."
The court did not appreciate this justification and sentenced Shipilov to life imprisonment, which he is serving to this day.

A Danish nobleman died of a bladder explosion. This man could not leave the dinner party because of the thought that he would be considered impolite. Tycho Brahe refused to leave a dinner party during a dinner party in 1601. In his opinion, it would have been indecent to leave the table to visit the toilet. He ended up dying of a bladder explosion.

These two men (Will West, left, and William West, right) were sentenced to the same prison and look very similar. However, they have never met, were not related, and are the reason why fingerprints began to be used in the judicial system.

Employee of the Year
Mac Ray Edwards was a lifelong road construction and repairman. His friends and family knew him as a real professional who led a measured life and benefited society.
In reality, the man turned out to be a serial killer who killed at least 6 children. At the same time, the maniac learned to combine his main job and a terrible "hobby".
After the murder, he would take his victims to the place where he had to pave the road. After burying the body, he would soon return to the same place and cover the remains of the unfortunate children with a layer of high-quality asphalt.
He worked so well that the police did not even consider the abduction of all these children: they were reported missing.

Suicide on live television
On January 22, 1987, American politician and Pennsylvania state treasurer Robert Budd Dwyer called a press conference, promising reporters to "give an update on the state of affairs."
A few years before these events, a scandal had erupted in Pennsylvania: an error in the tax system was causing working people to be overtaxed. In 1986, Dwyer was accused of accepting a bribe from an accounting firm in exchange for a contract to compensate victims. The politician himself categorically denied guilt, calling the charges "political persecution."
Disagreeing with this verdict, he decided to voluntarily leave his life. Before doing so, he called three colleagues and gave them three letters: one was a suicide note, the second - a donor card, the third - an appeal to the governor of the state.
Then, pulling out a gun, he urged anyone who didn't want to look at it to leave the room. After a few seconds, he put the revolver in his mouth and pulled the trigger.
