The rupee fell to 95.7 per dollar, marking its fourth decline as surging crude prices and higher US yields pressured the currency. Brent neared $110 amid Middle East tensions, while 70% Fed hike odds and limited RBI intervention added pressure.

Global Market Heatmap
Global markets were mixed, with US equities largely steady while European and Japanese markets declined.
Oil prices remained elevated, with WTI near $102.7 and Brent around $107.8. Gold fell 0.96% to $4,364.9, while silver declined 1.67% to $63.85. Copper eased 0.15%, and aluminium dropped 1.84%.
