Nickel prices declined as investors booked profits after recent gains, while Indonesia's efforts to ease export bottlenecks improved near-term supply prospects. However, losses were limited by falling LME inventories, supportive Indonesian mining policies, and slower nickel ore shipments from the Philippines.

Crude Oil Update
US Strategic Petroleum Reserve crude inventories fell by 3.7 million barrels last week to 307.7 million barrels, their lowest level since March 1983, as the government continued releasing crude under its 172 million-barrel drawdown programme.
