I know art is already slow, but now our AC is busted so my IPad is losing battery faster due to overheating. It is getting to be 90° in the house and the window AC units are only doing so much (basically just the area next to the beds, so not really by my desk or anywhere else) Please bare with me lol

Thinking of selling some merch through here since i'm pending for only one con to vend at this year. Between distance restrictions and rejections for cons and not wanting to be reamed with disgusting amounts of fees from online shop websites (ESPECIALLY Etsy, those are horrid for creators) I was feeling this would be a good option. Wanting to keep everything through square (the same point of sale system you typically see artists with at cons! they're the little white square or the white rectangular readers.) Thoughts?

They can get me in soonest July 21st for another shot, i'll be working in the meantime but taking it a lot easier and will be prioritizing pin commissions since I have a more set timeline they need to be done by. That is also unfortunately the day before my surgery so i've gotta re-figure out the timeline of everything

So... as of about three days ago my shoulders had been acting up again. (pain, clicking, limited movement, same as before) I'm going to slow down again a little bit, since I don't want to make it worse. I did jump into doing art for 6 hours or more a day again more recently and it seems like i should not have done that now. If it doesn't fade I'll be going back to the Dr- they did say the cortisone shot could last 2 weeks or 2 years, or i could never need it again and everyone is different. Looks like I got about 3 months out of it 😅

Experimenting with mixing colored pencils in for shading... it's harder to see on a darker colored character for sure but I'm liking it so far! May need to do it on a couple more on different characters before making the swap just to be sure..

Wanted to put a shout out for a buddy who is fundraising for a shelter near and dear to their heart. It was destroyed by one of the recent tornadoes going through IL. They did a lot of community work including barn cat programs and other outreach programs. Luckily all fosters placed (but now the county shelters are filling up) however they need supplies and funds to rebuild literally from the ground up. AB will be edited into the original comment i have for bid chains on the profiles, and you will reply to the current highest bidder if you want to AB. This prevents people from further bidding for a character that is already sold- if your bid or AB is outside of the chain it will be deleted!

been seeing a couple adopt batches by a few different artists doing pool toy ocs and i want to make some too so bad... they're so cute raaahhh maybe in my spare time this weekend i could do a couple of base semi-customs like i did for the pride raptors? (same cost too) any interest for that?
