The Shining by Stephen King 7/10 My first ever horror book. Did it scare me? Just a little bit. Cause there so many too specific vocabulary, if you don’t know them you cannot feel the atmosphere. Even though book was very thick, around 500 page-long, it keep me intrigued up until the end. Book was about a family who went to an old hotel for winter job. Job was living there during the winter. During this period there aren’t anybody in hotel, cause hotel was really cold. Hotel starts drive family crazy when they ended their alone. Ghosts, hallucinations, monsters and the dead woman at room 217. “Monsters are real, and ghosts are real too. They live inside us, and sometimes, they win”
