| 8 | Subtronics returned to New York for Experts Only at Randall’s Island after playing two sold out shows in Brooklyn earlier this year for his FIBONACCI tour.
We spoke with Jesse about his connection to New York, from spending nights at Webster Hall to meeting his wife here, and how the city and East Coast have influenced his journey.
He also opened up about storytelling through music and what it means to create something that people can connect with, find comfort in and carry with them through whatever they’re going through.
And with SUBJOHNICS closing out Experts Only alongside John Summit, we talked about the connection between dubstep, house and bass music and what makes the two artists work so well together.
