This case is going on in SC at the moment. ego clash bw senior IAS officer vs senior IPS officer!! Both have filed defamation case against each other. Mediation has failed bw them. SC asks them to consider mediating. Remarks - both are brilliant officers. Both are hell bent on destroying careers of each other. Try to resolve it. Referred to the mediation cell. ATB future civil servants for klesh ahead!!

This matter came up before Supreme Court, just a while back. This concerns CAPF AC exam. It seems petitioner has been declared medically unfit. He has challenged it in Delhi HC already but since hearing hasnt taken place there, he has approached SC. SC wasnt inclined to interfere. Said even if u succeed in your medicals, you can claim your candidature. Petitioner's counsel requested some relief be given since after declaration of results, 3rd party rights may be created which wud become difficult for him to claim his case. SC: We do not have power to issue employment. In the worst case, if court finds you have case, this court (SC) has power to even create supernumerary seat. Just sharing. Thats how service law jurisprudence works!

So, this was the matter. Just got over. What was the matter: The Petitioner has filed this writ petition in Delhi HC seeking preservation of OMR records of Civil Service Examination for exam held in 2025. As per his submission, the OMRs are preserved for 1 year which is getting expired tomorrow, 11th June 2026 for a GS1 paper. Notice has been issued. Thats it. SC wasnt inclined to interfere. Same senior appeared who regularly represents UPSC in HC/SC! I hope some day I get to challenge this upsc, soon!

Guys, A matter was just mentioned in the vacation bench of Delhi HC concerning Civil Service Examinations. In vacation benches, one has to show urgency first. Counsel said that - OMRs will be destroyed tomorrow. Counsel wasnt audible but seems mentioning has been allowed. Matter will be taken up today by DHC then. I will update here if I get to know more. I am not sure if its related to UPSC CSE exam but seems it might be given how prelm results are around corner! 10th June 2026/ 10:45 AM.
