Pardon the hiatus, quality before
quantity. 👹🙏🏻🔱
Having compassion for your enemies doesn't mean not defeating them.
Often they may be purified by the merit of your actions.
“You do not vanish into Nirvana, nor does Nirvana abide in you, for Nirvana transcends all duality of knowing and known, of being and non-being.” Lankavatara Sutra

This man is a lair.
Buddhism is growing so Abrahamics have turned their propaganda and lies towards it.
Apologetic nonsense.
Buddhism teaches of hell, warns of hell all the time. As well as how to live and avoid it.
Though it may be karmically inevitable and there are different afterlives and layers to all Indo-European faiths.
The Abrahamic concept of Hell comes from Indo-European religions like Buddhism.
I promise you there are people claiming to be Buddhist who will go to a punishing hell, and there may be Abrahamic who will go to a semi decent afterlife. But those who lie and spread adharma intentionally, like this, are absolutely bound for it.

When every morning and every evening you die anew, constantly making yourself one with death, you will obtain freedom.

Regarding Buddhism and Vitality
Not having attachment or being controlled by desire isn't to be without divine inspiration or vitality.
It is seeing things a impermanence, accepting certain things as they are and not allowing one to be enslaved or enthralled by based desire or expected or projected outcomes.
It doesn't mean one will not still struggle and strive on some level or put efforts forth for merits and achievements.
Or "desire" for better outcomes for others or your own.
I won't lie and say there aren't contradictory views regarding this within some approached to Buddhism.
Especially those who seem to be more asceticism and less Balanced / Middle Way focused.
But this is also why I look towards (Tantra) Vajrayana and a bit of Ekayāna with an Indo-European Pagan blend or syncreticism.
Upaya (Skillful means) is using what works and is beneficial ultimately.
Being fully life denying and anti all vitalism is the opposite of skillful means in my opinion.

A lot of people are responding to this absolutely moronic attention seeking take.
Every one on the internet lately is taking their ignoble stab at Buddhism with their misinformation or self projected concepts of virtue, or lack there of.
Majority of what he is describing doesn't hold up as Pagan virtues either.
This take is to never master everything. Be the slave and thralls to every emotion, demon, algorithmic egregore, and controlling entity.
No different from the sprial and degeneracy we see now.
He is just suggesting to embrace your destruction.
Grossly pathetic and vile.
People reborn in Avīci have committed one or more of the Five Anantarika-karma ("Grave Offenses"):
Killing one's father.
Killing one's mother.
Killing an arhat.
Shedding the blood of a Buddha.
Creating a schism within the sangha.
The Dharmakāya of the Buddha has the perfection of permanence, the perfection of pleasure, the perfection of self, the perfection of purity. Whatever sentient beings see the Dharmakāya of the Tathagāta that way, see correctly. Whoever see correctly are called the sons of the Noble One born from his heart, born from his mouth, born from the Dharma, who behave as manifestation of Dharma and as heirs of Dharma.
Interesting hypocrisy here.
As this individual didn't start his video with seriousness or respect but insults and ignorant dismissal.
Good on him for acknowledging a counter point maturely.
Guess he knows better now.
Thought it solidifies my opinion that his video was just a clout seeking grift for engagement and not a genuine commentary.
Same seems to go for his views on Paganism.

Here is an image I took of the 33 avatars of Avalokiteśvara I took in Kamakura for those who seem to have something to say regarding Buddhism latley.

Avalokiteshvara
while practicing deeply with
the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore,
suddenly discovered that
all of the five Skandhas are equally empty,
and with this realisation
he overcame all Ill-being.
“Listen Sariputra,
this Body itself is Emptiness
and Emptiness itself is this Body.
This Body is not other than Emptiness
and Emptiness is not other than this Body.
The same is true of Feelings,
Perceptions, Mental Formations,
and Consciousness.
“Listen Sariputra,
all phenomena bear the mark of Emptiness:
their true nature is the nature of
no Birth no Death,
no Being no Non-being,
no Defilement no Purity,
no Increasing no Decreasing.
“That is why in Emptiness,
Body, Feelings, Perceptions,
Mental Formations and Consciousness
are not separate self entities.
“The Eighteen Realms of Phenomena
which are the six Sense Organs,
the six Sense Objects,
and the six Consciousnesses
are also not separate self entities.
“The Twelve Links of Interdependent Arising
and their Extinction
are also not separate self entities.
“Ill-being, the Causes of Ill-being,
the End of Ill-being, the Path,
insight and attainment,
are also not separate self entities.
“Whoever can see this
no longer needs anything to attain.
“Bodhisattvas who practice
the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore
see no more obstacles in their mind,
and because there
are no more obstacles in their mind,
they can overcome all fear,
destroy all wrong perceptions
and realize Perfect Nirvana.
“All Buddhas in the past, present and future
by practicing
the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore
are all capable of attaining
Authentic and Perfect Enlightenment.
“Therefore Sariputra,
it should be known that
the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore
is a Great Mantra,
the most illuminating mantra,
the highest mantra,
a mantra beyond compare,
the True Wisdom that has the power
to put an end to all kinds of suffering.
“Therefore let us proclaim
a mantra to praise
the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore:
Gate, gate, pāragate, pārasaṃgate, bodhi svāhā,
Gate, gate, pāragate, pārasaṃgate, bodhi svāhā,
Gate, gate, pāragate, pārasaṃgate, bodhi svāhā!”

Dharmakāya: The God Conception of Buddhism
This episode we explore the Buddhist concept of God and the Dharmakaya, clarifying common misconceptions and comparing it with Western (Abrahamic) notions of divinity.
The discussion features insights from Japanese Zen master Soyen Shaku and D.T. Suzuki, emphasizing Buddhism's non-dualistic view of the divine.
