"Struggle and hardship are the main elements of National Socialism. It is therefore the worldview of the strong, the militant man. National Socialism springs from genuine soldiering. It is with his combative basic trait the soldierโs Worldview."

No state in the world at that time had give more money to the Catholic Church than the Third Reich. By the way, when Pacelli was appointed the new pope, the contact between the Reich and the Holy See was "refreshed" a little.
After Pacelli became Pope Pius XII. Hitler sent the new pope "the warmest congratulations of the Fรผhrer and the government". Pius then told the German ambassador that he had "a fervent wish for peace between Church and State" and said that "the Church is not called to take sides in purely earthly matters and expediency between the various systems and methods that can be used to deal with the emergency problems of the present."
It was also a nice gesture that Pius XII sent a personal letter of congratulations to Hitler on his 50th birthday on April 20, 1939.
Unfortunately, the war made it difficult for Germany and the Vatican to reach an agreement, but both sides always tried to stay in contact (As you can see even in wartime).

"The Fรผhrer was of the opinion that a basic settlement between National Socialism and the Catholic Church was quite possible. [...] However, the time had not yet arrived for such a settlement. Germany was engaged in a struggle for existence that she would fight, in all circumstances, to a victorious end; naturally, this occupied all her efforts and did not permit the Fรผhrer to get interested in other problems. [...] In the opinion of the Fรผhrer, what mattered for the time
being was to maintain the existing truce and, if possible, to expand it.
In this respect, Germany had made very considerable preliminary concessions. The Fรผhrer had quashed no less than seven thousand indictments of Catholic clergymen. Also, it should not be forgotten that the National Socialist state was spending one billion Reichsmarks annually for the Catholic Church; no other state could boast of such an achievement."

"Christ said to the Jews:
"Ye are of your father the devil. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. He is a liar and the father of it." John viii, 44.
Christ called the Jews "the children of Satan." He called them "murderers." He called them "falschand incarnate," Because Christ thus exposed the Jews, and because He fought, preached and taught against them, the Jews sought to murder Him too."

"When Field Marshal Hindenburg was dead and the whole country mourned him, Adolf Hitler had him buried in the middle of a huge monument.
This is the monument of Tannenberg. At Tannenberg, Hindenburg won a great battle and defeated the Russians in the great war at that time. He is buried there now and his grave is a sacred place for the whole nation."

"It is a fact that in the whole Orient, in the whole of India, in the whole of China, as well as in the northern fringes of Africa and elsewhere, the Christian element is to a great extent the most morally questionable. And that is because our Christian ideas are completely inappropriate to these people, this people's blood and people's being, and do not suit them. What they make of it is something completely foreign to us. Consider the Abyssinian Christianity, or the Christianity of certain Kurdish tribes, or the distortions of Christianity in China! No! You cannot impose certain goods or ideas on other peoples. The Germanic people can understand Greekism because they themselves have the Nordic blood that the Greeks once had. But never can the Greeks can be fully grasped by an East Asian or even a Negro."

"Your party, Mr. Schรคffer [the Bavarian People's Party], claims to be a Christian one. For many years now, your Christian party has ruled in Bavaria. And the result?
In theater, literature, in the entire arts, yes, in our culture in general, the same rottenness is showing under the regiment of your Christian party as in all of other Germany. On the stage, in the newspaper and in the book, Christianity can be mocked without your party lifting a finger, if the vilifier have the good fortune to belong to the race that once crucified the founder of the Christian faith."

"As a driving force behind the Jewish legal power stood the aggressive toadyism and malevolent perfidy of the Pharisees. They unmasked themselves more than ever as Christ's arch-enemies, deadly enemies.... Their eyes were blindfolded by their prejudice and blinded by their Jewish lust for worldly dominion."
