π΄ GIFT NIFTY traded 7 points higher at 21,538.00 signaling that the Indian stock market is headed for a muted start today.
π΄ The U.S. market kicked off the final week of 2023,expecting that the Central Bank will cut the interest rates in March. All the major indexes gained while S&P 500 touched it's highest intraday day level and rose to 0.42% on Tuesday, Nasdaq went up by 0.54% and Dow Jones gained 0.43%
π΄ India VIX rose by 7.08% to the levels of 14.68. indicating potential spread out of the Indices over a larger range of values.
3οΈβ£ Things That Will Decide The Market Today π
1) GIFT NIFTY traded 16 points lower at 21,393.50 signaling that the Indian stock market is headed for a muted start today.
2) US stocks gyrated to a mixed close on Friday as investors headed into the Christmas holiday weekend, having digested cooler-than-expected inflation data which firmed bets for Federal Reserve interest rate cuts in the new year.
3) India VIX dropped by 0.36% to the levels of 13.71. The volatility still lingers over the usual rate indicating potential spread out of the Indices over a larger range of values.
